I was told that should something go wrong or if I change my mind that the money that I deposit would be refundable to it's entirety. I was supposed to move into my apartment by the 2nd of November, but eventually was pushed by the 3rd, to the 5th, 10th and then 15th, but agreed to the signing for the 16th because that was a friday. Agent Mr. Richardson called me and informed again that the Owner would have to go out to Queens and would not be able to take part in the signing of the lease. I was furious... I had no choice but to look over the weekend and find a new apartment (which I did on that Sunday) because I had to the owner of my older residence that I would in fact finally have my lease signed... Now Mr. Richardson refuses to give me my money back although he stated and it's been recorded that I was entitled to my full refund 4 times. Now I have to take it to small claims court. *** In addition, he admitted in a recording that he was going to fraudulantly alter the contract so that I wouldn't have a case when I went to see him about my refund and stated to Mr Richardson that I will take it court because I have proof - WATCH OUT ***
Pros: Since they want the money, they will show you apartments, do and tell the owners anything to help you get the apartment.
Cons: They will try to con you out of money, claim to have a witness to support their claim. Always have a recorder like I did, once you feel their is shady business.
