Christ Place Church

11years ago I suffered a catastrophic injury resulting in me being in a wheelchair. I was in a very dark, bitter & angry (especially at God), place afterwards. My parents were BPBC members at the time and were in a Bible Fellowship Group. Their group has rallied around us since day one. My parents and their class tried to get me to come to church for years and years and I finally gave in. It was absolutely the best decision I had ever made. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and saw me just as Daniel, not as Daniel in the wheelchair, which is what I was afraid of. I love listening to Pastor Jeff talk about God's love and forgivingness! In fact, it was under the anointed preaching of God's Word by Pastor Jeff that I accepted Christ. I am even involved in a men's Bible Fellowship Group which is amazing. I cannot begin to imagine where my family & I would be today without the love & support of the BPBC staff and it's members. more

I can't say enough good things about this church. Pastor Jeff Crook is a very down-to-earth pastor who's very easy to follow and understand. You can even check out his sermons on the church web site at www.bpbc.com and follow the link for online sermons. There's something at Blackshear Place for everyone of any age on Sunday and also on Wednesday nights. There are mission trip opportunities year round and many ministries to become involved with. If you have children, there are so many opportunities for them to get involved too. Check out this church, you'll be glad you did! more

If you are looking for a church to connect with Blackshear Place Baptist Church would be my first stop! Great music, awesome preaching, lots of programs for kids and students, a growing college ministry, and a ton of adult small groups to choose from both on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. They even have 4 Sunday mornings service times to choose from. Currently VBS (Vacation Bible School) is just a few weeks away and my youngest loves to go. I hardly have to get him out of bed during the summer because of his excitement. It would be worth your time to visit this caring, very friendly, and exciting place of worship. Wish I could give it more stars! more

I have been going to Blackshear Place church for near 14 years now. Our preacher has so blessed us all with his preaching Gods word straight from the bible and keeps us all involved in reaching the un-reachable around the world. Pastor Jeff is on fire for the Lord and keeps us all motivated to get out of our comfort zones and bring all people to know Jesus. I have never felt so close to Jesus in my life, since Pastor Jeff has came to us and blessed us with his teaching our Lord and Savior's word. Jesus is so good. Now, I'm a Jesus-freak. I just can't get enough of this Savior!! more
