I have never been treated worse as a customer. These guys seem to make a business practice out of making false promises. A dining set we ordered was supposed to arrive in 10-12 weeks, and now it is supposed to arrive 5 months later! After many unreturned phone calls and empty promises we had to beg for a refund. Before our refund was granted we were given the run around for 2 weeks, told we needed to talk to this person, oh no, that person, oh no, it had to be approved by the main office. Oh, and our sofa made in LA, went from 8-12 weeks to 17 weeks until arrival. Sure, they carry nice furniture but save yourself the hassle and disapointments of being lied to and shop elsewhere. What a nightmare! more

If your looking for good quality at reasonable prices, then Black Sea Gallery is the right place to shop. My wife and I are new to the area and happened by Black Sea on our way to Trader Joe's. We immediately felt welcome by their staff and the overall feeling of the store. Its really warm and inviting. We weren't ready to buy our dining room set at the time but the deal they had on the set we liked was so good that we couldn't resist. We got 6 chairs and 6 foot table for just under $1200 and it was solid wood. Back in Boston we would have paid that just for the table. Needless to say we were very pleased with the price and quality. They delivered the set the following week. The salesperson even called after we recieved the set to follow up with us. Black Sea carries extremely unique furniture. My wife I were tired of the same old same old with all the furniture stores that were around. A friend turned us onto Black Sea and we fell in love. They create their own designs and produce them all over the world. So they have a lot of character. We were actually surprised to find out that they still produce about 50% of their products right here in the U.S. The quality was great and prices were unreal. We shopped around and the type of things we liked were only found in boutique stores at ridiculous prices. Black Sea carried similar products at more than half the price. We were sold. We bought our dining and bedroom sets from them. They delivered them in 3 days and we're excited to say that everyone that comes to our house comments on our beautiful furniture. The items are really nice but not worth the headaches you will have from their service. Their reps have lied to me about when my order would be delivered, made mistakes with my order, and were rude to me when I called to discuss the mistakes. I wish I never walked into the store. This experience has been a disaster from the beginning. If they didn't have an EXCHANGE ONLY - NO REFUND policy I would have cancelled my order immediately. I cannot believe a store with such horrible customer service is still in business. Cons: Bad service, Rude reps, Exchange only - No Refund Policy more
