One of my pet peeves is the random $10 minimum that some businesses impractically impose on their customers. I have been a relatively frequent diner at Bistro Pacific for the past 5 years, and I have always used a credit card, usually tipping close to 50% on my $9 lunch. Today, out of nowhere, my server said that they have a $10 minimum (she didn't mention if this was a new policy that they decided to put in effect over the week). I replied that I had used my card the previous day on the exact same bill and she reluctantly took my card. My 50% tip slid to 20%, and I will definitely look for another place for hot and sour soup next time.
Pros: Decent food, good lunch deals
Cons: Sometimes frazzled and inconsistent service
