Unique bookshop 5/28/2006

I love this bookshop which focuses on biography (although not exclusively). They have new and used books, and some real bargains. And if you're into the story of true lives, it's a great place to visit. A fun browse and occassionally a great discovery is here. I've found it to be a great place to visit when trying to find the right gift for a book lover. more

Great selection and reasonable prices 8/20/2005

I try to shop at small independent bookstores when I can in order to help keep them in business. The Biography Bookshop is a great small bookstore. You are amazed at how much you can find in such a small store. They also have really good prices. You really can't find better deals at the larger chain bookstores. more

One of the Neighborhood Shops 8/15/2005

Don't be fooled by the title: you can get everything in this small, neighborhood place. The bins outside have hardcover books at bargain prices, and inside is a thoughtful collection of fiction, travel books, contemporary stuff, and lots of non-fiction. The staff is helpful, and there's always some author-type floating around to give it more ambience. more
