I travel from Cary to Wilson just about every day.
I stopped through Bill's drive-thru for the third (and last) time today.
I love Chicken, and they have a Big Sign outside, promoting their ""World Famous"" Chicken. The first time I stopped was a huge disappointment!
I ordered a 3-piece, all-white chicken. To make it short, the hush puppies were great, the Chicken was dry, over-cooked and tasteless.
After the first trip, a local tells me ""you have to ask"" for hot and freshly-cooked chicken! Do you believe that ???? You have to ask for Fresh, Hot Chicken ???
OK....well, I did that on the 2nd trip... I got one fresh, hot wing, and two pieces of dried-out tree bark!
Three weeks have passed, I stopped again today, this time, going inside to the carryout counter. I ask the nice lady to please give me some ""Fresh and Hot"" Chicken.
I get in the car, head down the road towards Cary, and yes...it's very Hot. Have to wait about ten minutes before it becomes safe finger-food.
OMG..... over-cooked, dry and still tasteless!
Pros: Convienent Location
Cons: Worst Chicken I've Ever Eaten
