I decided to get into cycling a couple years ago, and i went to bike barn. They got me into a 56cm trek 1000sl. Little did I know, I am NOT supposed to ride a 56 frame, but a 54. Despite that fact, you would think that they would fit me correctly, so it shouldn't matter too much. WRONG. all they did was adjust my seatpost height. That's it. So for 3 years of riding on this oversized, under-fit bike, i developed a permanent pinched nerve in my shoulder blade. I thought, you know, it was just a part of cycling; build a bridge and get over it.
Pros: Okay starter bikes i guess
Cons: Obviously don't know how to fit someone to a bike
