Good: I came into the store at Santa Fe and Clairborne in July 2010 I had a bike from Walmart that was having problems, The guy who helped me took a good deal of time explaining in the most polite way that my 6 month old bike was not worth repairing. I was just a little upset I admit, but I could tell he was trying hard to not offend me, but at the same time not let me spend a bunch of money fixing it when I could likely buy another one for the same money. I let him give me his sales pitch, and I'm happy I did. Other: I have a brand new Trek now and I have free service as long as I own it, Something I see from another review about the repair taking so long, they admit they do get backed up in the spring and summer and recommended that I get it tuned before the peak season. I feel it is well worth the trouble. By the way a little known fact I guess, anyone over 6' 3" can't buy a bike that fits at Walmart. more

Slow to Repair 9/12/2005

I took my bicycle to this store at the beginning of summer. Evidently, this was the busy season for them, because it took over a month to repair it. They told me it would take at least a week. I called back, and they said they were still waiting for the part. Then, they had ordered the wrong part so it was going to be another 10 days. Finally after a month it was repaired. But then the handlebars were a little crooked and now it makes a funny squeeking sound. The kids that worked there looked to be under 18 years old, and the bicycles they were selling looked to be overpriced. more
