Cozy and Delicious 1/6/2007

Went here on a whim, very charming place. We were seated within 10 minutes on a Friday night, which was great. The owner was kind and sat us himself, very friendly. I Have been to Bijan's 4 times and every time I leave satisfied. I tend to be more of a night owl and love that I can always count on Bijan's for late night food. The staff is very attentive and and happy to serve you. They also have a great beer and wine selections. Pros: Hours, Service, and great food... more

This restaurant saved me. I had some friends coming into town & had just moved here myself. They wanted to dine downtown, but I barely knew how to give them directions to my house. I read a few reviews about Bijan's on Citysearch & decided to take a chance. The restaurant was perfect! Visually you would expect the prices to be much higher, but it was very affordable. AWESOME restaurant! 11/2/2005

I was visiting Chicago from out of town with some friends and we were told to check out Bijan's...for a good steak, not too expensive. We took the advice, and Bijan's was fantastic! The food was amazing and the service was good, too. I had the best steak that I've ever had at Bijan's!! :) more

Fresh 'gourmet' foods at great prices! 10/9/2005

I've been here too many times to count as it is my neighborhood restaurant. Everything is wonderful and presented so beautifully! Try the pasta, or steak or my favorite burger in Chicago! I'll agree that the service can be a little slow depending on how busy it is, but it is worth the wait and easy enough to choose an off hour for your visit. Perfect Late Night Spot 8/31/2005

Went here on a recommendation from a long time customer and it was everything he said it was. The Host is great and the service perfect. The room is the right size for something cozy with someone special or gathering for a group of friends. The food is great and a steal for the prices. Great Bar Scene 1/21/2005

My friends and I love Bijan's!! We were there for drinks the other night and we definitely plan to go back soon. Our waittress was very friendly and we never had to wait for any of our drinks. I would highly recommend Bijan's to anyone looking for a great night out. more

Great Late Night Atmosphere 1/9/2005

Great service and late night atmosphere. My new favorite late night spot. Had a wonderful steak and sat a table next to a retired Chicago Bull hall of famer. Great time!!!!!!!!! more

horrible service 9/5/2004

i was there with 2 friends for dinner around 10 pm and service was horrible,after ordering the drinks the waitress never came back, i spoke to the manager on duty and he was so rude about it.....i won't go back and i won't recomended. Pros: crowded Cons: , to crowded more

Classic Late-Night Dining Returns! 7/25/2003

Catering for years to the restaurant and 'vampire' crowd, Bijan has recently re-surfaced in River North after a remodeling hiatus. Classic French Bistro food and drink -- nothing 5 star, but still very good for what it is. And... great peope-watching!: Never know what luminaries you may see after 10 P.M.! And who knows who you may meet after 11? Pros: Location, Hours, Ambience Cons: Parking, Limited Menu, No More Outside Space more
