If you want to take the chance of your pet dying, then take it to Big Spring. I took my 6-year-old cairn terrier/corgi mix in to have her teeth cleaned. Before I took her to Big Spring, she was a happy, healthy, energetic dog. After I left Big Spring with her, she was sick and vomiting. After i got her home, she had no appetite. All she would do is lay around, and drink a little water. My boyfriend called the vet that cleaned her teeth, and she recommended picking up some medicine that would stop her nausea. We did. That night she had a seizure, and we had to rush her to the emergency animal hospital in Winchester, VA. They did some tests, and said that it was her kidneys. She stayed overnight, and the next day they told us that she was dying. The anesthesia they gave her at Big Spring caused her kidneys to fail. We had to have her euthanized. It was a sad day, and something that should not have happened. I have a word to best describe Big Spring Animal Hospital. Incompetent!
