Big Daddy's Pizza

Food was ok, pretty dry though, like it had been sitting around for a while, because it probably was. The delivery took over an hour and a half not terribly far from us. Don't think I'll I've ordering from here again. more

This place is total crap. Its like calling a call center in the middle east, you get some jack wagon you cant even understand and PRAY your order is correct. The food is crappy, but when your drunk and its 3 am what other choice do you have. Next time I will cook Ramen and pass out. Screw you Pig Daddy!!!! more

This is the downtown SLC location. Can't you guys hire people that SPEAK ENGLISH to take the orders??? Every time I call, I get a Habib or Juanita and have to repeat my order and info several times before they get it right! more

This is for the Kearns location, no place to review that one. I was a fan, and a good customer. One bad experience can ruin it all, that is why every interaction is important. I ordered a hot and ready at 9:10pm on a friday and they were out. They said 7 minand it would be ready.... 20 min later I check if my pizza is done and they act like they didn't know I was waiting. They ended up giving us some other guys order. The whole time teenager working there were running around secretly passing around cigarettes, cash and who knows what else... And get this one worker wiped down a clean table that I was sitting at, bumping the dirty rag into my elbow. So mad right now. more

Its not the worst i've had but its mediocre still. The staff are very rude and made my mind up for me when it came around to tip. It was greasy and bleh not to terrible though if you like cardboard... Won't come here again unless i'm REALLY hungry. Pros: eh Cons: rude, icky sauce, greasy more

I've had the same experience as many. I visited with a few of my friends with intent of buying a pizza. I simply asked if I could use the phone for a moment and I was practically shouted at. It was such a turn off that I just left. Another time, I visited with my family, not wanting to but not having much of a choice. There were wild children belonging to the owner I assume, running and acting like fools. Obviously they were allowing the children to dip into the candy and toy dispenser for free. My younger brothers had asked me for a quarter and attempted to buy something from it only to be yelled at by a woman for touching it while her children were near. I was very upset with this. It wasn't as if they were going to steal, they were just trying to buy something. Very rude staff, always has been. Wouldn't ever go here again. I've gotten pizza from the Salt Lake location before and was real happy that someone put a good pizza joint in Kaysville. My wife has never had a Big Daddy's Pizza and loved every gooey cheezie bite. Fast and friendly service. Pizza is among the best in The valley. I hope that they keep it this way.. The 28"" pizza is a real gut buster and great for feeding the hungry mob. We used to order at least twice a week which we still do and now we stop by for their $5.00 ready to go Special. Where else can you find anyone willing to deliver everywhere , even on Christmas. probably one of the top two pizza places in Salt Lake!! Their Maet Lovers callled the Coronary and their BBQ Chiken pizza rock! Garlic Cheese Bread is incredible!!! The pizza we had was great. However we wanted to eat their and their was only one dirty table in the back of the place. We think it is best if you have them deliver. more

I ordered delivery here a while ago, and the price wasn't to unreasonable, high but not unreasonable, and the pizza was pretty large, and tasted as good as any other cheese pizza. But, the two or three slices I had sent me on a very unpleasant trip to the bathroom. more

It is Christmas day @ 6:00. I called a few pizza places that deliver to magna and only found one that was open it has been a while since I had ordered from big daddys pizza but when I called I got a nice suprise. \r a gentleman answered the phone was very polite they provided fast service and good quality exspecialy for the price. \r \r thanks a bunch Pros: very polite staff more

We have gone here before and the pizza is not very good. However, tonight the time had passed that most places are open (much less on a Sunday just before X-Mas), so we decided to call. The guy got on the phone, practically yelled into the phone asking me if I would hold, put me on hold before even I had even answered, and then I was on hold for 15 mins. before I finally hung up. \r \r I see absolutely no reason why there should be a 15 minute hold time for pizza at 11 PM on a Sunday, and after reading the other reviews I think it is just incompetence. And to be honest, I don't think I want to eat their pizza anyway after hearing about these disgusting conditions. Pros: Deliver all night long. Cons: Bad food, worst service. more

Well, my husband and I were going to order a pizza here over the phone but the guy first put me on hold for 10 minutes which made me irritable...then when he got on the phone not only did he get my order wrong but I asked him to repeat my address and he repeated it wrong. So when I gave him the correct address he put me on hold for another 5 minutes, to then come back and tell me that it would be $ 47.16 for a veggie pizza and a side of wings. I was like uhm what???? So I said nevermind I don't want it. And to make everything even more annoying, he sent a delivery man to my house ANYWAY! So I then had to deal with the delivery man trying to argue with me (until he saw my husband and felt intimidated) on whether or not I should take the pizza. First of all, who pays almost 50 bucks for a veggie pizza and a side of bbq wings???? That's ridiculous, I felt like I was about to be ripped off. Second, the guy on the phone didn't know his head from a hole in the wall. And third, how dare they send someone to my house even when I said ""NEVERMIND I DONT WANT IT!"" This place seems like a huge hassle, a big ripoff, and to top it off, the employees are very very rude. My advice: go to Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, or Dominos- at least at these places you know what you are going to get and how you're gonna get it! Sad to see what was once easily the best pizza in slc, as Pudge Brothers several years ago, turn into this. Garbage. Filthy store with filthy pizza. The last time we picked up a pizza here the person in the back pulling the pizza was picking toppings off our pizza and eating them.Like my pizza was a buffet. I ordered carry-out last night and as I was about to pay, I looked up to see the girl that was making the pizzas, drop the dough, pick it up, and proceed to make a pizza out of it. Not only that, but a driver walked in and pulled pizzas out of the oven, and started handling the dough and toppings--WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!! When I mentioned this to the guy at the counter, he said that I must be mistaken, and STILL WANTED MY MONEY! He tried arguing with me, but I just walked out. My recommendation is to go somewhere else-I'm surprised they haven't been shut down already. Same place as Pizza d'Carlo. Same Review. Rude...Rude...Rude...Couldn't even get to actually ordering the pizza from either Big Daddy's or Pizza d'Carlo (since it's the same place). Not only was there terrible phone service- but the girl didn't even know what prosciutto is. \r Save yourself some grief and call ESTE! more
