The mission of The Women's Center is to improve significantly the psychological, career, financial and legal well being of women and families regardless of their ability to pay. Our clinical staff includes over 100 therapists and career counselors who provide more than 35,000 hours of counseling and over 150 workshops each year. For more than 30 years, we have grown along with the community we serve.
The Women's Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a counseling, education and information resource that provides psychological, career, financial, legal and educational programs and services. To meet the diverse needs of our clients, we offer many types of psychological services including individual, family and marriage counseling; ongoing support and therapy groups; educational workshops and psychological assessment.
We provide a comprehensive list of career services including career counseling, career coaching, Information Career Advisory Network (ICAN), resume review, career library and career-related programs.
We offer a variety of financial educational programs throughout the year including programs on financial planning, retirement, financial issues of separation and divorce and many more. We can also provide resources for financial consultations, credit counselors and housing specialists.
Our range of legal services includes legal information, mediation services and educational programs on the legal aspects of separation, divorce and custody. We provide a wide variety of on-site programs covering issues related to domestic violence and abuse, including workshops and support groups to help individuals and families who are impacted by domestic violence and abuse. In addition to these programs, our domestic violence resource room provides information in a safe, confidential setting. Available in multiple languages.
