I don't know much about taking care of my house or any of the mechanical things in it. Beverly Services went the extra mile for me. They explained everything fully to me so I could understand and make the decisions that I needed to make. They never talked down to me the way that so many other contractors have done in the past. They are very very professional. I've already recommended them to two of my friends. more

I had Beverly come out after I had another company tell me that I needed a new air conditioner. Well, I didn't need a new unit. Beverly Services fixed my air conditioner for under $150. The technician was very kind and really knew what he was doing. I will definetly use them again! more

I've used Beverly for years, never had a problem. Their repairmen are always very courteous and their prices are very reasonable. I got a new furnace from them recently the installers left my home cleaner than it was before they arrived! Also, I did check around before I bought, and their price was the lowest of four quotes! A+++ more

My furnace broke on a Saturday so I called them. It took a while for someone to come, but I understood it was a Saturday. They charge $119 on the weekend, just to diagnose the problem. The technician was good and found the problem. They did not have the part and said it would be in Monday or Tuesday at the latest and someone would call me one of those two days. I didn't hear from them so I called them and the representative said the part wouldn't be in until Thursday at the EARLIEST now. Well I was going away and order the part myself and had a friend install it. It's been 10 days from that Saturday and still haven't heard a peep from them. Don't waste your time with this company. more

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED~ 9/9/2010

been dealing with them for 6yrs, only because I have to because they put in my furnace and I have complete coverage for another 3yrs. Initially they ruined my bathroom floor, I was unable to get enough money back from them to replace it, so the holes are still there to remind me of the mistake I made hiring them to begin with. They have already overcharged me for work NOT done last year, I did receive part of it back, the rest I assume is a loss. I complained so they will give me a free furnace cleaning, which isn't free because I paid last year and they never did the work.. I have been rescheduled 3times for my FREE cleaning then finally came, they apparently don't have enough people that work on the oil furnace they put in for me, along with not enough equipment for use by the ones who do know how to service it. The office ladies always terse and annoyed and make you feel like you made the mistake and annoyed them when you called and yes I did make the mistake, I hired them...they came, they cleaned, they complained, they left a large pile of oil and grease debris outside my basement door, right where you walk to reach the hose, so now we have to jump over it not to track oil everywhere.. what a loser company, all about the bottom line MONEY, not customers. They are one of the only companies who can service me, so I guess I am stuck! argh..too bad there isn't a lower score... more

Poor service, greedy and overpriced 7/6/2010

We've been suffering their prices for their supposed service but have been repeatedly let down. Had an emergency water heater issue. They came out and tried to charge us $1200 for a $300 service. I kicked them out and had it done by someone else for under $300. Their service mgr called, apolgized and promised a free air/heat service w/free filter. They showed up today and charged me for the service. Forget this company and move on. Pros: Can't think of one. Cons: Too big for their own good more

Not as concerned about satisfaction as they claim... 2/13/2009

I called Beverly Services when my kitchen sink became completely clogged. The plumber who was sent to my house was very messy, did not have the proper tools for the job (a power auger... shouldn't this be standard for plumbers??), wanted my help while my one and two-years waited in the family room, and to top it off, gave me a misdiagnosis which lead to him being unable to fix it (I know this because another plumber was able to come and fix it). Beverly seemed concerned when I first called to politely let them know about this situation, but then did not follow up as they had promised. When I finally called again, they did not seem concerned at all over my dissatisfaction. They did not even offer an apology. In fact, after telling the woman with whom I spoke that I would be sure to not recommend this company to potential customers, her response was ""well, that is your perogitive"". All this from a company who says that they care and claims a 100% satisfaction guarentee. Save yourself time, frustration, and money by calling someone else!! Cons: messy, inexperienced, unprofessional more
