This may be my boyfriend's favorite bar. He has his own table, he feels comfortable sitting by himself and reading for hours, and when they remodeled and he thought the place was going to be ruined, he was close to tears. Luckily, the renovation was a success. The new Beulahland boasts twice as many tables, an improved jukebox, a liquor license, the same giant Virgin Mary statue overseeing everything, and the same crazy guy behind the bar. Drinks, food, service...none of them are expert, but that's not what you came here for, is it? You drink at Beulahland because it feels like your best friend's living room, without the empty pizza boxes. And the t-shirts are pretty cool too.
