Service issue 8/6/2012

I brought my truck in to have its 90K miles service and was not happy with the cleanilness of my F-150 when returned. Contacted the dealer and they took care of my concern above what I expected. They gave me a platinium detail plus engine clean at no charge to me. I am pleased how they handled the situation. more

Used lemon car 7/24/2012

Hello all, I purchased a used one owner 2001 nissan sentra with 60k on a Saturday afternoon. Monday on my way home from work the car died (150miles since saturday). It died in The milford city center, I called up Best ford to say I wanted a refund because this car cut out while driving down the road, losing brakes and power steering. Bill Haas told me when I bought the car it would come with a 3 day money back guarantee, they claimed not. They wouldn't even come tow me from Milford to their dealership. Luckily the car started up again but then died as I was pulling up the the light for the dealership. I had to fred flinstone the car to the dealership, not even joking. I had to leave the dealership around 5 but the Funny thing is their ford tech thought it might be the crankshaft sensor. Coincidentally after I got home that night and researched, the 2001 nissan sentra has had many recalls on the crankshaft sensor/components and i've found consumer safety complaints about the car cutting out even after the recall/replaced parts. I was at the dealer bright and early today (Tuesday) and the gm's discussed my situation and told me they would refund the purchase price only and not the dealer fee of 500$ (this was on the advertisement sign so I could not argue. They made a "exception" for me which wasn't really because I was shown and told I would have a 3 day money back guarantee. Don't believe their best ford warranty signs because its a scam and they are misleading. It says on the sign "every used best car comes with a 3 day money back guaranty" it doesn't say certified on it, so that sign itself can be taken for all used cars and not just certified ones. So basically I was sold a turd from a would be reputable dealership and was charged 500$ for driving 150 miles and wasting my own person time dealing with these guys. I am very lucky I took the car to work Monday and took the long way home (country roads) because me or someone could have been seriously injured if not killed. Veteran and Local buyer beware! more

Great place to go, if you love wasting your time 12/30/2011

Wow, I have never tried to call a dealership more times to get in touch with two people and have had more trouble. I cannot tell you how any times I would get a message saying I'll call you back at X time, and "we're so close to the # we need to be at" just to have to call them back 2 and a half hours after time X and then to find out we are nowhere near where we need to be, in fact they came down $100 or $200 each time when I was very clear upfront the # we needed to hit. I also told them I actually had another dealer waiting willing to give me what I wanted, I just wanted to avoid the extra travel. I wanted my time with them to last and day and they dragged it out FOUR days, just not responding to me, saying they are "working on numbers" (whatever that means, a 6th grader could work on numbers faster) Ron was awful at returning my call, and when I called him out for never calling me back, he said he had other more important things to do, really makes you feel important doesn't it. I have been here since 9am, but can't find 5 min to call you before noon, sorry. As other have said they show cars on their website that are not available to get you to come in, then jerk you around saying they'll work with you. They tried to steal my trade in from me and wouldn't budge from their offer even though 2 other dealers offered me more ($1000 and $1500 more actually) and they budged $100, that's it. I am done with them, and if you're smart you'll find another ford dealer to deal with. I have had great success in Salem, NH and have heard really good things about Londenderry, NH as well. good luck and stay away from "Best" (HA) ford in Nashua, unless you love wasting your time and getting jerked around. more

Now That is how to Buy a new Car 11/6/2010

I Leased a New Mercury Mainer From Best Ford Lincoln Mercury and It was the best Experiance I have ever had. I have Purchased Car and Truck in the past but, I have never had a more postive time. It started with the salesman who was new but but very nice. When he did not know something he would just say( I am sorry , but I do not know let me find out!) Wow I was so amazied that the guy did not try to give me a made up answer. Thanks, John. Then I meet with the Salesmanager Bill he was super nice and got my payment just where I wanted it. Then I did all my paperwork with the Business Manager. A great guy named Patrick . I think he is from Texas very funny and smart. I have never learned more about a the contract I was signing . He went throught every one line by line and explain anything I had a question on. It is the first time I feel like the dealership did not get to me . After buying a suv there I will never go anywhere else for a Ford and If I do buy something else now feel like I know what to look for and what I should expect from as a customer. Thanks Best Ford, you are truly the BEST!!!!!!!! more

Best Service Advisor 10/26/2010

My wife and I have been faithful customers for about 5 years. I have purchsed a Lincoln LS from Best Ford, my salesperson was a great guy. Since I have been dealing with a service advisor he has been nothing short of magnificent. Three weeks ago we had our 2000 Mercury Mystique in for maintenance. My wife just loves the car. It has 160000 miles and it has been solid as a rock. There were problems that the advisor told me and the tech found when inspecting the car. I told him to give me an itemized sheet with estimate. he did and it was perfectly put together. We gave him the go ahead on Monday and he told me the work would be completed by Friday evening that week....IT WAS. I was on a buisness trip to Las Vegas that week he even called my cell to keep me apprised of the work being done. This passed week he schedulled the car back in to have a window switch replaced. Everything went like clockwork. This just does not happen with 99% of the customer service reps I have dealt with in 40 years of car ownership the professionalism, the timeing status reports, and the completion process showed me that he is a true asset to the service department at Best Ford. I have had many customer service reps over the years...with several different dealers in town. this advisor is simply the Best. I am not a hard person to please, if the person simply does what they say they are going to do. You know in this day and age that simply does not happen. I wanted to go the extra mile for this advisor because he deserves to be singled out. I run a $20MM candy company and wish I had 15 just like him. Dont let hjim get away. more

Service 10/26/2010

Service center sucks!! I've been taking my car there for 18 months now for oil changes that come with a "free" multi point inspection. (which they don't even check!) They've been saying that my brakes and tires are still in PERFECT condition!! I had an oil change last week and they checked off that everything was in perfect condition again. So, I brought my car to the Londonderry Ford to get something checked and they did the "free multipoint inspection" and found that my front bakes were just about gone!! more

The BEST 3/22/2010

Went to Best Ford to buy a new Focus, they had a great selection and vehicle had a price listed on a tag. I shopped everywhere as I could only afford so much and after a little negotiating I got a price lower than all the others I shopped. Finance took a little while but offered me a great rate with little pressure. Car was clean and full of gas at the tiome promised. I would highly recommend Best Ford over all other dealers I visited. more

Buncha Shysters! 3/10/2010

I attempted to purchase a 08 leftover ATV in 03/10. Got the sales manager Bob Mitchell within $300 of where I wanted to be for a price. Drove 1.5 hours up from MA with cash to convince him and make the sale. No luck. Sent Bob to talk to the GM 4 seperate times to settle with me as I was paying cash and would take it on the spot. The GM said no and wouldnt talk with me for 1 min. I walked. Called the GM Mike Frassica days later. He gave me an attitude his whole conversation. He tells me a rebate that is supposed to be on the ATV isnt (Hondas website says otherwise). He also tells me I "should've bought it at that price when I had the chance while I was there." Because I didnt, he would not honor that price anymore. Our conversation immediately ended at that point. I should've known reading all the negative reviews on here... But I thought I would have luck. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BEST FORD / BEST CYCLES TO ANYONE. *** BUYER BEWARE *** Cliff notes: - trying to buy a leftover atv - dealer wouldnt take my cash offer on the spot - general mgr would not talk to a potential customer for 1 min - GM said price was a mistake and would not honor it over the phone days later more

Bait and switch!!! 1/10/2010

Good: nothing!!. Bad: Price posted on car tag was 3999, when asked what the best price was on a cash deal wanted to start negotiating at 4999, due to paperwork, doc fees, and 30 day warranty normally "being worked into the financing". Improvements: Price posted being anywhere near the actual price of the car.. Other: Are people really stupid enough to fall for this crap??? By the way, the only reason I posted 1 star is because it required at least one.. more

Best Ford 10/4/2008

I shopped everywhere and best Ford had the lowest prices of anyone. I have brought my vehicle for maintenence ever since and service department is resonably priced and very friendly more

Good if your buying, not if you need service 2/12/2008

First of all, I was reading the reviews of the past people and the service department isn't that bad. I can't understand how you could forget about a bad experience with a business and then buy from them again in a year. There would have to be some sort of positive reason for that person to buy another car from them. And I don't see what is so bad about ford. if you are going to bash it at least have something to back it up. Personally I didn't have any problems with them. The car was the least expensive there than anywhere else. The salesman was an absolute idiot , however the rest of the staff was great. the service department was decent but they wanted us to leave our car there for a week. We live about 2 hours away and it isn't practical to leave it for a week. Other than that they have been great. The prices are high but that is expected because it is a dealer. more

Best Ford, WORST FORD! 12/21/2007

If I could I wouldn't even rate this place it is worse than poor. I bought a vehicle from there in 2006 the sales was ok at the time. After dealing with the service department and the young kids of the unexperienced financial department, I had it and said I would never go there again. Then after a telephone conversation with one of the managers that was so unprofessional if was confirmed that this place was a joke. As time went on I forgot the extent of everything and what I was mad about and went back to look for another vehicle. After the usual salesman stuff we bought one, less than 24 hrs after the sale the vehicle was broken! I thought you had 72 hrs to terminate a contract or that there are laws against this. Best Ford sales knew what the did and refused to talk. We did bring it into the service department. The next day they said your case is closed come get your vehicle and that was it, no answer's, we couldn't ask questions that was it and it was still broken. We had to fix the vehicle on our own at a cost of over one thousand dollars. I have filed two complaints with Ford Motor Company and one with the Better Business Bureau that is still in the works. This place is beyond bad it should be illegal. more

Best... Hardly 11/14/2006

I agree with the last poster about their service department. My wife made the mistake of buying a Ford, and now her key won't turn in the ignition. I called Best Ford on Amherst St in Nashua to see about getting it repaired. They said it would cost about $130 for the labor and $100 for the part. I thought that was pretty steep for an ignition change, but I didn't have the time to do it myself, so I agreed. I went down after work to set it up. Once I got there, the service guy told me that FIRST it would cost $100 for them to hook my wife's car up to their computer to figure out what was wrong with it. THEN they'd start charging me for actual work on the car. The key won't turn! Do you think maybe it's a problem with the emissions control or the oxygen sensor, Einstein? If you need a computer to figure out that it's the ignition you should be paying me $100 to practice playing mechanic on my car. Needless to say, I went to a friendly local garage and got it fixed for much less. Now that all of my family knows better, none of us will make the mistake of buying a Ford ever again. more

Had problems with service dept, warranty 8/5/2005

I've had to bring my Windstar to Best Ford on several occasions. The last time I brought it in because I've had passenger side door problems since I purchased the vehicle (at another location). My van was still under warranty - a bumper to bumper warranty. I was given a quote for $300+ to have the hinges replaced on both doors. I asked if that was going to solve the door problems and they didn't know. And they said the hinges weren't covered under the warranty. Needless to say, I didn't have the doors fixed!! more
