12/29/07- While on vacation in ATL, I needed to get my nails done for a New Years celebration. My bf who stays across the street from this place recommended them. I was more interested in the Sugar Bar spot on Pharr because of the cute pink decorations. They were on vacation from Christmas til after new years! They just made me wonder if they even cared about if there customers were taken care of during one of the biggest holiday celebrations in the States! But any how, I went to best nails just to get a basic manicure and pedicure. The place is not as fancy as many of the spa/salons/nail salons, but they carried all the best brands such as OPI, Essie, etc. When I arrived they were pretty busy and asked for my name and number and told me they will call me when they are ready for me. I thought that was great, because I had other errands to run and I can come back instead of waiting there doing nothing. As promised they called me and when I arrived I was taken in the back to begin my pedicure. The women was very detailed and took care of my piggies :) She had beautiful nails, and I told her I wanted what ever she had. I rarely go into salons and see the stylist with nice nails or hair. She told me she had a over lay on her nails. I havent had acrylic in over 10 years because they just looked too fake. She gave me a very natural french manicure with acrylic and gel overlay. She also told me the gel drys fast and my white tips will last much longer. I didnt feel rushed, there was no gossip, I read my book in peace as I got my pedicure. And thats what its all about! For get the fancy decorations, I go to the salon so that I can walk out looking good! The visual effect is temp! The quality last longer! Thanks Best Nails for my beautiful nails. My bf says they are beautiful and classy! Catch you next time I am in ATL...from NYC!
