After walking up three flights of steps in a non-descript office building, was I surprised to be taken to a spot that makes me forget I'm in downtown Monroe.
The Best Little Hair House is housed in a suite of rooms that was once a former ballroom. Just looking at the high ceilings and wood floors makes me want to take a twirl around the room. Light streams through the windows making it a bright and sunny place to have your hair and nails done. To add to the ambiance, the salon is furnished with antique furniture which gives it a chic, upscale feel.
I was referred to the shop by a girlfriend and was entrusted to the care of the owner, Greg. After a color and haircut, I felt transformed and can again love my hair. Greg is a master stylist who can blow dry my hair like no other. He also introduced me a product that has now become a must-have in my hair styling products kit, Chi Hair serum.
Friendly, courteous staff. Comfy couches to relax on while you're having a salon treatment and a cup of coffee. I'm ready for my close-up!
