HORRIBLE 3/30/2011

Honestly, I'd rather say ""no comment"" because there is absolutely NOTHING good to say. We were tricked into actually walking into this place since we were looking for somewhere to stay last minute. For 4 nights, it was $640 which is very cheap for Miami Beach, but I'd rather sleep in the street then stay at this place. It's scary, dirty, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone was mugged or hurt while staying here. DO NOT LET ANY MAN OR OLD WOMAN TALK YOU INTO THIS PLACE, the room is so GROSS and the sheets, fridge, and shower are DISGUSTING! People say the old woman is the only good part of this hotel, YEAH RIGHT. She was VERY VERY VERY RUDE. ***We didn't even stay a night or even un-pack in this room, and we wanted a refund after seeing the room - but she would NOT LET US HAVE ONE! The only thing this lady did for us was recommend another GROSS NASTY place to stay with NO REFUND!*** *********And also, YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO KEEP YOUR ROOM KEY, THEY KEEP IT AT THE FRONT! WHO KNOWS IF YOU THINGS WILL GET STOLEN!******** more

The lowest circle of hell !! 10/21/2009

The Berkeley Shore is most definitely the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To add weight to this statement, I add that I have been in the bad parts of town in Buenos Aires, Guayaquil, Moscow, Tehran, Shanghai and Amsterdam, so I'm not just saying something. We ended up in the B.S. because we just landed, were jetlagged, needed a place to stay, and hadn't deployed our 'crap antenna's' yet. We figured it'd be OK, and we'd get on the road the next day and start our holiday for real. Turns out the B.S. makes their money by renting apartments out to social security cases, and rooms by the hour to the less glamorous part of the Miami Beach hooker brigade. I met girls in the hallway that made me want to wash my eyeballs with Listerine ! The room was dark, rank, and filthy and the door had no lock. We slept on top of the beds with our clothes on. To get an impartial impression of the B.S. I'd recommend you pay a visit to Miami.everyblock dotcom where you can see how many violations have been reported in terms of safety, health and hazards. The place is scary in so many ways that it could probably make all the money it needs on Halloween. You don't need to trust my judgement, but if you want to avoid encountering hookers, bugs, vermin, filth and contageous diseases, I sincerely recommend you DO NOT GO THERE !!! repeat : DO NOT GO THERE !!! Oh, yeah, the outside looks nice in the evening Pros: it's got a roof Cons: bugs, vermin, contageous diseases, hookers, smell, crime, more
