This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I had an immediate need to get someone to fix my leaking roof. I called Benton Roofing at noontime to speak to Jim the manager and I had to leave a message with their ""answering service"" (which I did). I didn't get a call back until a day and a half later and when they called it was a lady ""someone else other than Jim"". The lady told me on a Thursday that I have to wait until Tuesday for someone to come. (Keeping in mind that my roof had been and continued to leak) Tuesday morning came and when I called to confirm, the lady couldn't remember talking to me. When I jogged her memory she told me that the roofer was swamped and that she didn't know when he'll be available or when he'll call me. No estimate! No nothing! At that point I was done with them. I had to ask myself, ""if they are treating me like this and I am not their customer, how are they going to treat me once I am"".
I understand that a company can get swamped with work. But if they knew anything about customer service, they would know to reassure the customer and if they DON'T know an answer, then they need to find someone that DOES know. Please keep in mind that during this, I did not speak to Jim, whom I originally asked and left a message for.
