I can't imagine how a Company like this stays in business. I ordered ties (from their clearance section) only to have my order cancelled today...one week after I placed it. When I order from Brooks Brothers I can't believe how quickly their products come in. 2nd day shipping with BB is $ 5.00. So now after waiting a week I find out my order is dust. Any retailer, who cares about customer service, would at least offer some reasonable replacement, etc. Again, I am used to BB. I needed a few things prior to leaving for vacation and the goods were at my desk by end of morning the next day..no extra charege (BB). It was a goodwill gesture on their part as they were trying to help a customer out. These people do not seem to care. I responded to their Internet based cancellation notice and it looks like it might take them a week to respond to that too. Might I suggest that if you are looking for Alden or Crockett and Jones shoes, that you deal directly with their U.S. based brick and mortar stores, they bend over backwards to accomodate you. Service like you receive from Ben Silver will not be a problem in the future as Companies run like this are not destined to continue. Customer service is where it is at, forget that here.
