my fav 1/10/2011

We have had three dinners and two lunches at bellarietta bistro since July and are going there tonight. The best burger ever anywhere is their Billy burger! It is expensive but my husband and I split a salad, the Billy burger and dessert for lunch and it is worth every penny. Everything we have had or our guests have had has been fabulous. The chef is way too talented to be in this location. He could go head to head with any chef in the 5 state area and be among the top 5. Highest quality, fresh ingredients, creative combinations of flavors done perfectly. Worth the price. I also like Marx in stillwater, but I think bellarietta bistro is better! more

Great Place for Fine Dining 7/2/2009

Great food. This place is not for somebody looking for huge plates of food that is served in most restaurants in the US. This is for someone, that wants to experience fine dining with perfect portion sizes and a unique European flair. The food is fantastic and flavor full and the prices are average for a fine dining restaurant. We love the beautiful little place and will definitely be return customers. Our waitress was wonderful. So if you are looking for a Perkins or McDonalds, this is NOT the place for you. Pros: Unique Cuisine, very trendy & European more

Go the St Paul Grill instead 6/12/2009

This is pricey place. The first time we ate there, it was wonderful. This time, it was a Friday evening and there was an art festival in town - and it was almost empty. All four of our entrees were dry and poorly seasoned and we paid $9 for 4 small rounds of bruschetta with a smattering of crumbled cheese as an appetizer. We ordered two different bottles of wine and when I requested separate glasses, the server laughed at me and refused to bring them, embarrassing me in front of my friends. We will not go back. We could have gone to the St Paul Grill for the same amount of money. Pros: No waiting Cons: $$$$, poorly prepared food, server with an attitude more

always unique and delicious 7/25/2008

This is one of the best restaurants in the area at least. We usually have to go to the cities to find food worthy of special occasion status, but Bellarietta never fails to be a fun and unique dining experience. Many of the dishes sound unique/experimental, but they seem to come together quite nicely and they are always full of flavor. Desserts are all handcrafted- again, I have never been disappointed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a classy fun night out- it's on the higher end as far as prices go, but I have payed much more for lower quality eats. You wont be disappointed. Pros: unique delicious food Cons: it can be too quiet- excepting the occasional live music more

Steak should not be on the menu!!! 6/30/2008

I had the pasta special, it was like eating hamburger helper when I was a kid. My husband had the filet I have had chuck roast and over cooked filets that that had more taste, the steak was like rubber. The dinner salad with the meal and the french bread was the good. So with a eighty dollar tab and dinner for two and a glass of wine we could have gone to the St.Paul hotel for dinner. Service slow and to get a smile, that came when she dropped off the tab:( Pros: salad Cons: food more
