Ive had acne and oily skin for years now and I never thought I would find something that was customized to me. My mom told me about this place and I had my first custom facial in January. It was so soothing and I felt so relaxed. Vaishali, my esthetician answered all of my questions and was very careful to make sure I understood what she was doing. After the facial she recommended a customized regiment of skin care products and I use them religiously. I've had two facials now and my skin continues to improve! I feel confident without wearing makeup and that's a feeling I never thought I'd have again. more

I have visited this business since the start, the location is perfect, the products are amazing, and I have been faithful to Vaishali's products for over four years now, After using all the big brands I have found her products and services for my sensitive skin to be a blessing. The atmosphere is comforting and her hands are a gift from heaven. I am so happy with my custom facial I can cry. My wedding is few months away and I have tried everything but with one facial I can see the big difference and am glad I did not go to the Dermatologist. I have saved over 400 dollars by going to this skin care salon. And I just wanted to take the time to tell everyone about my experience. My face is clear and pollution free not to mention my eye brows they are now perfect and I will recommend this skin care guru to every one in Texas. Take a chance for your self if not for your skin. more

I started seeing Vaishali a couple of years ago for my eyebrows. Her threading and tinting have shaped and enhanced my brows, and the process is quick and painless. After I got engaged, I started seeing Vaishali for skincare. I began with the computerized skin analysis, which was a great way to learn about my skin and problem areas. Since then I've become devoted to her monthly facials and product line, Altivo. Vaishali takes her time and tailors her facials to your skin type and needs. I was concerned facials might aggravate my sensitive, acne prone skin, but I have never once had a problem in the almost 8 months of facials. I always leave with glowing skin, and the Altivo products (I use a cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and hand cream) help keep that glow until the next facial. Overall, my skin is clearer, has a more even skin tone, and looks healthier and well moisturized. I will continue the facials and products after the wedding and highly recommend Beauty & Beyond to anyone looking to enhance and take care of their skin. more

I had been wanting to get a facial at Beauty & Beyond because of all of the good reviews and awards they have gotten. I called and set up an appointment, when I got there I was given a form that asks a few questions about my heath and skin. After completing the form I went straight to the facial room. It was very peaceful and relaxing in the room. While I got ready the esthetician took a look at the form I had filed out. When i was ready she came in and took a look at my skin and got started on my facial. After my custom facial was done my face felt brand new! It was glowing and felt refreshed, clean and soft! I WILL be back for more facials. more

After a horrible wax experience I was looking for someone to help fix my extremely thin eyebrows. I looked online and saw nothing but good reviews on Vaishali so I gave her a try. After three years of only going to her I've never thought of allowing anyone else touching my eyebrows. The first time I ever went she shaped them and told me to let them grow in and come back in two weeks. I didn't take long and my eyebrows have stayed amazing. She's a wonderful person who loves what she does and it shows... it's hard not to love her. more

I love having my eyebrows threaded at Beauty and Beyond. Vershali is friendly, funny and amazingly good at her job. The shop, an old house, is cozy and comfortable. I really enjoy my visits, almost as much as I enjoy my beautifully shaped brows. I have sent numerous friends, coworkers and even strangers to her shop who comment on how well my eyebrows are shaped. Not only is she fantastic with eyebrows, her facials are equally enjoyable and beautifying. My face looks and feels like I've been on a relaxing week long vacation in only a short hour. I would recommend her services to anyone and will continue to only let Vershali's magical hands touch my eyebrows and face. more

If you are looking for some excellent results than this is the place that you should go to. I called them two month ago to ask some common skin related questions......i am getting married,.........so was looking for some real good advice. They answered my questions and suggested me to do a computerized analysis of my skin. I am glad i did .......I wanted to do chemical peels but after my analysis the they told me that i do not need to do peels, they advised me to do customized facial series. Within two months my skin is looking so great ,,,,,,,,,,i love this place.....i am glad i made that phone call. ..you will love the personal attention that you get at Beauty & Beyond .....I love it more

I'm revising my previous recommendation: I used to go to Vaishali a long time ago, reconnected with her last year & then had to stop seeing her because I lived so far away. Aside from the distance, I told her I couldn't do facials anymore due to my finances & she looked me straight in the eyes & said ""Don't tell me it's because of money."" First of all, it's none of her business why I had to stop, but yes finances were in fact the issue. After that I stopped seeing her until yesterday. We recently moved into town & I thought why not give her a second chance. I went for threading & she shredded my skin. I have tiny cuts all around my right eye & above my left eye - the whole time she grilled me about another lady I used to see for threading telling me ""She thought I left her for ."" I politely ignored her & she prodded me again about it & repeated herself. I'm actually friends with the sweet girl she is referring to & when I finally told her I did see her because she had a baby she continued to prod me for information & asked me where my friend is working now (because V wanted her to work for her). Really? After so many months that's all my visit is going to be about? I will not be going back there. She used to be incredibly sweet, but her shredding my skin was the last straw. Do not recommend. more

I've been going to Vaishali for a little over a year now, and she is hands down the best! I started going to her for my eyebrows, and since I've been getting them done by Vaishali I constantly get compliments on them, and most impressively by complete strangers in the supermarket, the mall, the doctors office, etc. About 6 months ago I began going to her for custom facials, and not surprisingly, they're great as well. Each time I go my skin feels cleaner and cleaner, looks so refreshed, and I have seen a reduction of lines around my eyes. Her facial led me to her products, which I have been using for months now and LOVE as well! I had ran out of a few things and started using my old Estee Lauder products until I got in to see Vaishali, and immediately my skin started breaking out. Once I returned to using Vaishali's products my skin cleared right up again. I highly recommend Vaishalli for all of your beauty needs, she's a true professional, offers a consistently high level of service and products, as well as being funny and a pleasure to see when you're in her chair! more

Beauty and Beyond truly lives up to its name. Vaishali takes great care in all of her services and her estheticians are very competent as well. I have had facials, tinting, threading, and recently brazilian waxing. Vaishali is efficient and detail-oriented in her services. She has completely transformed my face with her expert eye for eyebrow and eyelash tinting and threading. I never feel prettier than when I leave Beauty and Beyond! The only place I go to for Brazilians!! Vaishali is the absolute best at what she does. I've been coming to her for a couple of years now and I swore off anywhere else. She does my Brazilians, lip threading, and now that she started offering them, I get Vajazzled here too. The whole process is quick and easy. I'm in and out in 15-20 minutes so it's easy to pop in on my lunch break. Be sure to ask for Vaishali, you don't want to miss out!! more

Great skin care & friendly customer service 3/5/2011

Beauty & Beyond is a beautiful, serene spa nestled in a quiet neighborhood convenient to Montrose, Midtown, and the Museum District. I started seeing Vaishali for eyebrow threading in preparation for my wedding (about a year and a half ago). She's incredibly proficient with threading, making it nearly painless and very fast. My eyebrows have definitely improved since I started going to her. I've also had moderate to severe acne since I was about 20 years old, and have tried everything except Accutane. Vaishali started me on her facials a couple of months ago and my skin has improved SO much. She's also given me good dietary advice, and that has really helped with stopping new breakouts. The facials are wonderfully relaxing, and I look forward to my appointments each and every time. The service at Beauty & Beyond is GREAT. They are super friendly and never pushy about buying additional products or services. That being said, I really like their skin care products (Altivo) so far. Everything smells great, and the ingredients are natural and nourishing. Beauty & Beyond is seriously a great place. Give them a try if you're looking for professional eyebrow threading, relaxing and effective facials, or any other type of skin care. more

Great Customer Service. 1/4/2011

I visited Beauty and Beyond for the first time because i needed to use a groupon my husband bought me. I was trying to get an appointment scheduled at the last moment and i understand that since it is the last week to use this coupon,there must have been quite a rush for getting appointments scheduled. I wasn't able to schedule the facial i wanted, but the receptionist was very helpful and suggested i get waxing done, since that was the only appointment available. I went for it! I got my brazilian done by vaishali and it was painless and just awesome! I am definitely going back again! more
