horrible, horrible, horrible! service was bad, location is bad, parking is bad. the girl working there smelled like she went to a bar for lunch. no thanks.

I was on the prowl for a new pedicure place and a client raved about the Beauty Bar. I made an appt for a pedicure AND an eyebrow wax. I am a hairdresser and I am VERY pick pick picky! The salon is laid back and neighborhood casual. The girlz are friendly and fun. Michelle gave me one of the best eyebrow shaping/waxings I have ever had. Marika gave me a relaxing, detailed pedicure. The polish is PERFECT! This is as close to beauty Nirvana as it gets. Pros: skilled, professional,cool more

Best Pedicure in West Seattle! 2/27/2009

I enjoyed my pedicure with Lisa immensely. My toes look and feel fabulous. The space is very welcoming and the service was fantastic! Pros: West Seattle. Easy to find. Love the art. more

BEST BRAZILIAN WAXX EVER! 8/5/2008

LOVE - LOVE the beauty bar spa & boutique. Always fits you in, always a great brazilian waxx w/out the 1/2 day soreness. I don't know how she does it, it must be her special technique, but w/ all other wax salons you get that first night soreness from a fresh wax in that oh so sensitive area. But after Lisa's wax, I'm good to go w/out any down time! Wewhoo! I highly recommend Lisa at Beauty Bar. Pros: friendly service, ambience, always parking available more

Beauty Bar is Great! 6/3/2008

Beauty Bar is the best experience I've had with waxing in this town and I highly recommend it. Lisa was super nice and the cozy atmosphere, comfortable table and great tunes made for a rather relaxing time overall. (I mean we all know waxing is painful, but this was a much more comfortable experience than I've had in the past.) The only downside for me is that I don't live in West Seattle so it's a bit of a trek... but I would say totally worth the money AND the extra travel time! more

My two caterpillars 3/28/2008

Well I am a guy with what could only have been described as two caterpillars above my eyes. I live in West Seattle and of course was bit uncomfortable about getting something ""waxed"" for the first time. I also didn't want to end up looking like a drag queen. I had a great experience here. it was a quaint neighborhood atmosphere that I was not embarrassed to go to. The service was excellent and the results were perfect. I now have clean normal eyebrows that don't look like I have them waxed which was key for me. Pros: prices, service, atmosphere more

I've been getting waxed for years now...Lisa and Dejha are the best. I've never been so comfortable and confident with any other job. These girls are so thorough and personable. Every wax I've gotten from them has been excellent and every hair removed. Their techniques make hair removal as painless as it can be. more
