Should've listened to the GPS and made a U-Turn as soon as possible 1/16/2011

My mom has been going to the Beau for years, but since it had been 5 years since her last visit,I thought it would be fun for us to go again. She has always bragged on the hotel and the staff, but not this time. We were told we would have a room with 2 queen beds, but the room they gave us had 2 full sized beds. When she called to ask if we could be moved, we were told it was first come first serve - though we checked in at 4. The food was OK for the price. The cafe beside the buffet was not good at all. But the buffet had a pretty good breakfast. We loved the icecream shop and my daughter had a blast in the arcade. My mom stated the hotel looked grungy and that there was alot of rif-raf roaming the halls making her feel unsafe. For the most part, it was a nice trip, until we had the valet service bring our car around. The young man who brought our around sent it all the way down the hill and parked it by the street and he didn't offer to take our bags to the car. He was very ru more

Cant Wait To Return 5/26/2009

My fiance' took me to this wonderful place for Mother's day weekend. It was beautiful and peaceful. We walked to the beach from the resort. The room was awesome, We were on the 27Th floor and when looking out of the window at night it seemed as though you could reach out and touch the moon. The way the moon would shine on the water melted my heart. The buffet line was long but well worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious. This was one of the most romantic getaways I have experienced in a long time. I would have never guess there was such a treasure right in my own back yard. more

Only one complaint 5/30/2008

The service was wonderful. The food was yummy. The Y show was top notch. The spa was out of this world! The pool was just gorgeous. Our room was spacious and very pretty. The only complaint we have is that the bed was very uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up with stiff backs and necks everyday. Otherwise, everything was really lovely. more

Beau Rivage Dining 1/6/2008

The buffet is the largest selection on the coast! Talk about variety of foods! The Beau is a bit more expensive then the other buffets, but it is worth the trip! The down fall of the Beau Rivage is the parking. Unless you valet park, it is a long way into the casino/buffet. I wish they had better designed entry for the handicapped. more

Beau Rivage 1/2/2008

It is one of those casinos that make you feel 'good'. They have a glamorous setting and plenty of slot machines. They have wonderful shows that entertain you! The biggest downfall of the Beau is accessibility for the handicap. It is a long long way into the casino from the parking garage - so you have to valet park, if you are handicap. For that reason, we do not go frequently. more

Just the buffet... 11/23/2007

I haven't experienced much of the Beau Rivage other than the buffet, but I do like going for lunch. The food is good and the servers are always very pleasant and eager to please. The wait can be long sometimes though. On Mondays they give military members a 2 for 1 discount, but they are very unaccommodating if a military group happens to have an odd number of people. They refuse to discount the extra person's meal, which definitely puts me off considering how much business the base brings. more

No manager follow up 6/7/2007

I have been to Beau Rivage 7 times in the past 7 months. 3 of the times we used the Spa services. The last time we went they were crowded and overbooked so they cut short some of the service times. The problem was reported to the Spa desk and we were told the manager would call the room by a certain time. We waited, no call. We gave our cell pho numbers and were told to expect a call and still nothing. I sent an email 4 days later on 5/23 and still nothing. We had another small problem with housekeeping throwing away a box of receipts that was on the night stand. We filed a report with Security and received no followup on this from 2 months ago. I have previously enjoyed the clean safe environment and the professional staff. However, with the lack of response you get when you do have a problem I think I need to find another Hotel to spend my money. more

Looks Good 4/13/2007

The Beau is a beautiful place. But waiting times are extensive and I did not find the machines paid much at all. I did like their buffet and other restaurants. more

Only one great restaurant in my opinion 7/9/2005

I'm not a big fan of the buffet, coffee shop, Cafe Jardin, Memphis Q or the japanese restaurant. But, I think Noodles, the Chinese restaurant is the best in the area. There is a great selection on the menu and for the price, you get alot of food. we eat there quite often and never have a bad experience. I always find that the management goes out of their way to make our dining experience as great as it can be. I do agree that the other restaurants are way overpriced for just satisfactory food. That said, I've never eaten at the Port House, but have heard good things about it. PROS: A pretty place to visit CONS: Too overpriced for just so so food more

Beautiful Building - but nothing more 7/4/2005

The Beau Rivage is a beautiful place. The rooms are nice, the casino is large and clean. The hotel area is beautiful. I dined at the coffeeshop - Cafe Jardin. The setting was beautiful. Food was seriously overpriced for common fare. The meatloaf was $14. I ordered a greek salad, which was good, but accompanied by a dried piece of pita bread. My daughter ordered a childrens meal, chicken fingers and fries and never got the fries. My friend orderd a burger, for $10, she said it didn't taste good. My iced tea was old and foul. The wait for the food was long, about 45 minutes. Mostly - I was disapointed in the very high price, and below average food. You are paying for the beautiful hotel. PROS: Pretty, clean, great valet service CONS: Expensive, food wasn't good, service wasn't good. more
