Editorial review from Citysearch 8/8/2012

I called this repair/service because a close friend has used them for appliance repairs before in the past and was happy with them. I called, and scheduled a time for them to come out. Very helpful and nice people over the phone and was told between 8am-12 is when someone would show up. However- the serviceman, Lupe, showed up at 1:45, he did call to let me know he was going to be late, between 1-1:30. not 1:45. Once he got here, I explained what's wrong with my oven and told him my husband attempted to fix it. so, the door wasn't attached but being help up by the lock. So, he took the door off and immediately said he's not going to work on it because if he fixes it and there's a gas leak and ""we all blow up and die"" it's him who's responsible. I understand that. that's not the complaint. his attitude is my complaint. I asked what he suggest we do, and told me buy a new oven. Everything else on it works, burners and broiler. the oven doesn't heat. After he said that, he grabbed his bag and walked out of my house. He was here less than 5 minutes without giving any suggestions other than buying a new oven. My husband called to talk to him and ask him why he wouldn't touch the oven. The man said, because he already took the door off and the bottom panel off he wouldn't touch it because there already was an attempt to fix it. Understandable. My husband then began to ask other questions only to get a rude response back. It almost seemed like he was bothered with my husband trying to get some answers. My husband said, "" there's no need to act like an as* "" only to have Lupe say, ""fu*k you"" and hung up. My husband tried to call him back to ask if he worked for a business or if he was his own business only to get hung up on again. Once I called to make my complaint for both my husband and my own experience, the manager defended her worker stating that he's a Christian man, with a family and is one of the nicest people she knows and she's never had a complaint on him ever. Well, guess there's always a first for everything. Guess that doesn't stop good people from being rude to customers either. Honestly, I wasn't going to complain until the manager brushed me off about my complaint from my husband and myself. Never have I encountered such poor and disrespectful service from a business with both a repairman and manager. If you have appliance problems, I suggest someone else. This is my personal opinion and I am sure there are other's out there who just love them. I must have just had this guy on an ""off"" day but I would rather give my money and business to their competitors. more

Will recommend! 3/28/2012

I have to say, I disagree with these negative reviews wholeheartedly! I had nothing but the best experience with these people. I was referred to them by my plumbing company, Skelly, and I've had some bad experiences in the past with other repair companies, this one took those worries away. The girl who answered the phone was genuinely kind and seemed to actually care about my problem, my repairman was professional as well as on time! They fixed my refrigerator quickly and efficiently, then when I referred them to my mother in-law they helped her in much the same fashion! Me and mine appreciate them and will be using them from now on. I hope many more will give these people a chance in the future to impress you just as me and my husband were impressed. Thank you. more

very professional! 12/9/2010

I've read the other reviews and frankly I don't get it. I've used these folks for several years and I have had the best experiences with them. Always informative and fair with their prices. They are fast and neat and courteous. I give them an A+ in service. Plus I have refered them to my family and friends with no complaints! more

I agree with the other reviewers. This mom and pop shop definitely needs a few lessons on P.R., which is important in the service industry. If you plan to take the day off to wait for someone that will not show up on the day they are scheduled; if you plan to hire a tech who wants to make a phone diagnosis and do a guessing game without looking at your appliance; if you want to make continuous calls to a company who doesn't want to take responsibility to call back; if you want a company full of excuses; and if you want to deal with people who waste your time, then this is the company to call. Maybe the unprofessionalism on their part could be inexperience, but in today's world, there is no room for incompetence, stupidity and laziness. I would rather buy new appliances than deal with uneducated people like this. Very frustrating! Their actions and poor excuses are a reflection of their little business. more

Unprofessional 7/28/2009

We had a power surge and needed a repairman to evaluate the damage on our dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. They sent out a man to do the evaluation the next day. When he got here all he did was ask if there was power to the appliances and then without taking them apart or looking at them said that what was needed was the circuit boards in each. We then asked that he fill out the forms we needed for insurance and he said he couldn't. We tried to resolve it with the main office but they were no help. We asked that someone else come out and actually do what we paid for them to do but they would not do that either. Long story short we paid for someone to determine what repairs were needed and got nothing. We have a different company coming out to do the repairs. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Cons: Not worth the money more

Disappointed 4/9/2008

Called them for my dryer repair. First, I thought I was getting a repair place close to my home as stated by their ad. Not so. Next, when tech said he would order parts and be out the next day, I figured I could live with that. However, it took a whole week to get this resolved. Turned out there was more to the diagnosis than he thought. It was a nightmare for me. Hard being without a dryer that long with 2 teenage sons and a husband with dirty jogging clothes. Not liking the laundramat scene and no place to hang them. Also, during this whole ordeal, this company never informed me of what was going on. I or my husband always had to call them to find out when they were going to repair it. Told me about ordering parts, etc. Also, I felt the tech needed to take a lesson or two in PR. Also, it would have been nice to have an apology from company for all the frustration I went through. Bottom Line: Dryer repaired...finally more
