I have been meaning to write a review for a long time (that's how I found this place so I have to pay it forward). This is absolutely the best laser hair removal place. Andrea is so sweet and knowledgable-- I love going to them every month. And they have been super patient and flexible with my crazy schedule. I have recommended them to all my friends. I started my treatments at the end of the summer and I couldn't be happier with the results. OK, I had been rolling this decision around in my head for months before finally breaking down and getting this treatment. I, like other reviewers, went to another place first. I got a hard-sell and was a little creeped out by the facility. I also ""won"" a gift certificate to a different laser center. Don't believe it, people. EVERYONE WINS those things and they're still more expensive than most. (They won't give you any pricing without you coming in, which I thought was really suspect, too.) Then I checked this site and saw that Beam had good reviews. After two minutes of talking with Andrea and Liza, I knew that I would go with them. They are down to earth and honest, clearly committed to getting great results and the facility is private and feels more like a spa than an exam room (unlike the first place I went). Their prices are competitive and they really care about doing a great job.\r I couldn't be happier with my results thus far and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEAM LASER SPA to anyone considering laser hair removal. Beam has been a great find! I first checked out another local laser spa since I won a 'prize package' from them. It was definitely no prize. Even with half off, it was super expensive and the office itself was not a great experience. I waited more than 30 minutes just to be seen for my test session. They said they'd follow up with me and never did. So, I started looking around for other places. Beam has a fantastic location and is a small shop with great reviews, so I decided to check it out. I bought the 6 package without even testing it! The service you get there with Andrea and Liza is so personal, you feel so comfortable with them! I did my first session and didn't see much hair loss, so Andrea followed up with a second no charge session two weeks later, and it worked like a charm! I have never waited even a minute to be seen, and the prices are even more reasonable than the other places I looked into. I can't imagine any place being better! Pros: Personal service with a friendly environment, small clean shop with no waiting, reasonable pricing... Cons: Nothing! more

Going to Andrea and Liza for laser treatment was by far the best investment I ever made. I went for the test patch (Andrea zaps a small part of your body and you can see the results on the small area before you buy the whole package) but after she thoroughly explained the process and because I felt so comfortable with her, I bought a 6-pack of the brazilian, armpits, full leg and side burns and have not looked back since. She goes into how the laser used is the best and most effective out there, how she's worked for a laser hair removal place before opening her own so she has plenty of experience, and how the growth cycle of your hair works and why you'd need to go back every 6 weeks for a total of 6 times. I haven't shaved anything since I've gone to her and I really haven't had to. I honestly can't imagine going back to having to worry about shaving or waxing. I've referenced 6 friends since I've started the treatment, and they've all felt the same and bought 6-packs and all plan to buy more. On top of it all, these girls are so sweet, I actually look forward to going and catching up with them - very important when their zapping your privates. I was sick of painful bikini waxing, shaving my legs and missing spots in my underarms. I decided after alot of research to turn to laser hair removal treatment. My experience at Beam Laser Spa has been wonderful! Andrea and Liza are genuinely kind and welcoming. I love seeing them when I arrive. Laser hair removal can be invasive and uncomfortable at times but Andrea does an amazing job of making you feel relaxed and well taken care of. The offices are immaculately clean and simply cute not like a scary testing lab like others. The costs are lower than competitors and hair is guaranteed gone! I have been a fuzzy girl my whole life, and so it?s fair to say that I?m an expert at hair removal. I had been thinking about getting laser treatment for a while, but I wasn?t sure where to go as most places seemed like impersonal factory-type of institutions where you?re in and out like a doctor?s office. I heard about Beam through a friend, and decided to check it out for a free consultation and sample treatment. What sets Beam apart is that it is a small spa, and the only people who you ever see there are the two gorgeous Brazilian sisters (who also dealt with hair their whole lives and can totally relate to my woes and insecurities) who are extremely attentive, informative, and made me feel so comfortable that the whole experience was really no different than getting any other great spa treatment. Post-zapping, it is amazing to watch the hair shed. Regrowth gets lighter every time you get treated. I?m set to go in for my second treatment this weekend and I can?t wait. They also have great smelling candles and delicious chocolates waiting for you when you get there. A big thanks to Beam for liberating me from body hair! Excellent customer service (they phone you after every zap to make sure you are ok), Beam Laser Spa has the newest cool laser jet technology that makes this hair removal process PAIN FREE. I had my bikini area done somewhere else a few years ago - it grew back and was very painful (and I'm no blonde). Not here. My under-arms are hair free after only two zaps and it was virtually painless. The two brazilian sisters Andrea and Liza that run this uber clean, professional spa are super-friendly and knowledgeable. Get a pack of 6 treatments and pay for only 5 to save $$. I recently visited Beam Laser Spa to get my underarms done. It?s something I?ve always wanted to do, but was hesitant. Well, the entire process was virtually painless and took about 5 minutes total! That?s it! The service was very personalized, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere was very professional yet calming at the same time. I started as a scared NYC girl going only for a bikini test patch when my sister convinced me I should do it all. When I got to Beam I met Andrea and the laser love affair began! She was so informative I felt safe and comfortable doing my treatment there. It is a clean, comfortable atmosphere and I was very happy with the service and follow up. I never felt that I was being rushed and knew she was taking her time in doing the treatment right. I was very scared to try laser hair removal, but was sick of waxing my bikini every month. I went to Beam Laser Spa to have a conversation about the procedure, and have a small test patch done on my leg before I tried the bikini area. It did not hurt as much as I anticipated, and waxing is more painful in my opinion. The best part about it is that after 6 sessions.....you are done forever!! I am already on my 3rd session for my bikini and am going to get my legs done next!! Andrea is so patient and made me feel so comfortable! I would definitely recommend Beam Laser Spa! more

I used to have to go to the barber very often to ""clean up"" the back of my neck since the hair there grew so fast and looked unkempt otherwise.\r A friend suggested I try having that area lasered, so I tried Beam.\r Not only is the treatment working extremely well, but the thing I appreciated the most was their customer service. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive, and actually called me the day after my first treatment to check on me. They also called two weeks later to make sure my hair had shed properly and to offer a free touch up for any strays. I feel I'm in great hands. I researched a lot of laser places in NYC before I actually committed to one. Beam really stood out in their in-depth consultation, and I got the feeling they really know their stuff. I've been shaving my whole body since age 14, and have very thick hair, especially on my legs, with 2-3 hairs per follicle. I would shave in the morning and have re-growth on my legs by the end of the day! Same with my underarms. I bought the packages of 6 for whole legs, and underarms, and already see results, even the pore size of the skin on my legs has diminished. My underarms also responded really well. I'm already debating what body part to do next. Yes, it's an investment, but it's totally worth it!
