Bland. That's the first word that comes out of mouth to describe the Beachside Bar and Cafe. The food is okay, the service is good, and the view is great. It would be a great rest...

Always a favorite of mine, the early bird specials are quite affordable. Not always on the menu but always available is the Chowder boat. Sour doe bread bowl with tasty chowder. I have not had a bad meal there yet! Drinks are good and service has never been a problem. Gets real busy there and with the view its no wonder. more

Surprisingly... 7/11/2005

Bland. That's the first word that comes out of mouth to describe the Beachside Bar and Cafe. The food is okay, the service is good, and the view is great. It would be a great restaurant if it had food with more flavor. One word of advice, AVOID the clam chowder, it is too thick, usually comes out cold, and yes... bland. more
