Did you ever think your children would go hungry at a restaurant that sells entrees for $24-$33? Go to the Bay Grille at the DoubleTree Hotel at the Berkeley, CA Marina and they will. My family and I arrived there with friends with a total party of 9 to eat and celebrate the July 4th holiday. We arrived at 6:30pm and they told us the wait would be 20-40 minutes. They seated us at 7:40 pm. After repeated attempts to get menus, we were given one menu along with bread and water about an hour later, I approached the manager and I told her we had been waiting for almost 2 hours to order. Her response: ""Well, just tell me where you're sitting and we'll take care of it."" The right words - said with an attitude of ""Well, I know I have to say this, but I really don't give a $%^*"" She took our order 15 minutes later. And after seeing all the people who were also left waiting for hours, we took our children, who were all complaining of hunger, away from that place -- 3 hours after we had arrived for meals we never received.
