I contacted Bay Area Property Management company several days ago and scheduled a meeting at my residence regarding property management services for one of my properties. Shawn the representative that was supposed to show at 10.30 this morning, calls me 1 hour prior, stating that because it was raining he would not be able to show until 11.30, at which point I expressed to Shawn that it is not good business to let down a potential customer and said this is not a very good start, but went ahead and said yes to meeting at 11.30 anyway. 12.30pm and Shawn had still not arrived at which point I called back and asked where he was. At which point he said he had got busy but then went on to say he thought i was rude to him on the phone when i complained that he did not show first time. Shawn obviously does not know how to deal with potential customers very well at all. I have to say this i the worst example of customer service I have ever received. I will never deal with Bay Area property management again, and I strongly suggest to any landlords out there that they stay clear of this company 100%.
