I was prompted to give Bay 101 Roofing a call after reading several good reviews via Yelp. I'm an avid Yelp user but I don't generally write a review. However, this time I felt that it was necessary.
Extremely poor customer service. I contacted them to look at a leak in my roof. They said a field person will call me back. However, one week later, still no returned call. So I called again and the person said they can perhaps come out that day or later in the week. They ""promised"" they will call me later in the day to confirm the exact time but again no phone call.
Well, a business should not make a promise that it has no intention of keeping or to even follow through. I never asked for them to come out immediately. Heck I was willing to wait for a few weeks but just give me a date and time. Is that really too much to ask? Apparently it is because I never got the call.
Really not a good start to any business interactions. I called them back the next day to let them know that I was disappointed in their business dealing. I was told that it was a busy time and again asked for my information. Are you kidding me? I'm not an idiot. If this is how they are with just scheduling, I would hate to think how they will be with their work. Perhaps if I needed a new roof then I would have deserved a call back.
