Return visit. Got the butternut squash ravioli, which was rich and a bit creamy for my taste. Crab cakes did not have lumps, as advertised, but was shredded and heavy on the cucumber and red pepper mixture, disappointing. Mashed potatoes were good. more

Good prices, great food, decor from Marshals. Truffle fries are a must try. Pork chop was awesome. Save room for dessert. more

Truffle fries, black truffle purses, perfect spinach, the best short ribs ever, better than mom's meatloaf, pumpkin bread pudding, some'mores. OMG, I'm hungry all over again.\r \r For the price of a chain steak house, you'll get the most incredible taste treats here in this unassuming strip mall location. And to top it off, Dez was the most amazing server. All in all, a special experience that I hope to repeat on a regular basis. more

We were taking there by our friends on Friday Night and I must admit that when we saw the location we were a bit hesitant at first, but that soon went away as soon as we walked in and felt at home. The staff was very attentive and service was fast.\r \r The food was to DIE FOR ... the prices are a bit high for my pocket, but at times you gotta put out to get some... (no pun intended) I had the Meat Loaf and two of our friends had the peanut crusted chicken. \r \r I love my Meat Loaf without a doubt, but my friend let me taste his chicken and I am going back for to get that next time.... IT WAS THE AWESOMENESS!!!\r \r Can't wait to get back there! \r \r KUDOS to the chef and staff! more

Absolutely delicious!!!! The appetizer special was the ahi nachos and it was amazing. I had the grouper which was the special and my husband had the pecan crusted chicken-both were VERY delicious. A must is the truffle fries. They were the best fries I've ever had!!! more

We eat here for lunch time to time and it's excellent! I never knew they did dinner until I googled it and I'm definately going to check it out soon.. I think bash should branch out to even more locations.. They would fit right in on the beach! I could totally see this place in south beach .. I'm just sure rent there is out of control ! I heard about bash from word of mouth so if it continues to go that way then everyone is going to go there!I recommend this place to all my friends more

A friend brought me here and now I know why.\r It reminded me of a neighborhood bistro \r in NYC. We lucked out as we entered the restaurant \r we were informed of their 4th Thursday of\r the month wine nite. A great deal. 6 different\r wines plus amazing horsderves for$12.00\r only $ 6.00 if you order dinner. The short ribs\r were amazing. I had the truffle fries, excellent.\r The owner as well the wait staff were friendly\r and helpful. I am going back next week with\r my husband and friends to try the apricot and \r goat cheese chicken. more

It's hard to say enough about Bash, amazing food, great prices, and a friendly staff. Every single item there is just perfect. Every time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale I make it a point to visit. \r \r Their location isn't that easy to find, but it's well worth the effort. more

my only suggestion is that they put more interesting appetizers on the menu.\r \r i keep ordering the truffle fries....heavenly! but next time i am also ordering the sweet potato fries, because i ate most of them off my husband's plate.\r \r the goat cheese salad is superb but a little pricey, but it is enough for two.\r \r i've had the chipolte chicken which was good, but the pecan encrusted chicken was even better. we've tried fish there also and it was fresh and plentiful. more

Bash is a new locally owned and operated gem in Sunrise on University. The interior decor is relaxing and comfortable enough to enjoy a long meal. I have enjoyed many a meal here and no entree has failed to satisfy me. The owner will come out to greet her patrons during the meal if she has the time between her cooking duties. Try the excellent sweet potato fries! more

The Boss and I went to Bash four months ago and had an outstanding meal with friends. Tonight, we were sitting around doing the Marty thing 'I don't know, what do you wanna do?'. I said, let's go back to Bash. And are we glad we did! Tonight, right off the menu. The Boss had the Pecan Coated Chicken Breast which was the most succulent chicken breast either of us have ever tasted. When we asked Veronica what the secret was, she said that it is marinaded in buttermilk overnight. I had the Beef Short Ribs, braised in Mr. Pibbs (kinda close to Dr. Pepper) finished with a homemade BBQ sauce on the grill. Outstanding!! The chomping in the background is Roxie the Wonderbeagle working on the bone! I had the Bash Side of Potatoes Au Gratin that was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. A side of Kale with Canadian Bacon finished off a beautifully presented plate. We finished with a Banana Bread Pudding that had the right touch of vanilla sauce. Service was outstanding (Nice job, Federico) with visits from both Veronica and Chef Nikki. Great wine additions shows that Veronica is still adding new wines that are very fairly priced. Bash is a gem . . . if you don't try it, shame on you. Very good food presented very nicely without any Sobe or Las Olas pretentiousness. more

My husband and two (of our three) kids just returned from a dellightful meal at BASH and I want to spread the word! Bash is in a unasuming, older strip mall on Oakland Park Blvd. It is a small, but inviting space(think "this is a great local place I could become a regualr at"). Service was great, never overbearing. Our two 10-year olds were welcomed and accomodated , both enjoying the grilled chicken breast sliders. My husband had the pecan-crusted chicken and yes, I must admit, we both devoured the sweet-potato fries, which were so crispy and delicious! My special of Key West shrimp-stuffed ravioli was wonderful with a teriffic creme sauce, full of flavor. Food was all VERY reasonably priced and the wine list was thoughfully put-together, with many decent selctions to choose from (my husband enjoyed a delicious Blue Moon ale...yes, just like Sgt. Crowley had at the White House this week!). We finished up the meal with espresso and no, dessert did not disappoint. The kids loved their "Turn your frownie upside downie" (fried won-tons stuffed with brownies served with vanilla ice cream!) and we both finished up our mixed berry crepe with no complaints. Chef Nikki came out at the end of our meal and seemed genuinely delighted that we so enjoyed our dining experience. Bottom line: Whether you are enjoying a night out with the girls or a dinner with your family and you truly appreciate well-prepared food at a great price and want to support a talented local chef, then go to BASH! more

Bash is a friendly upper-scale wine café and catering company. They catered my company's 2008 holiday party held at a historic hotel in Las Olas and did such a phenomenal job that it outshined all the previous parties - including one at a posh hotel & restaurant with a much larger budget than mine.\r Serving food to large groups is often where caterers fail, but I knew Bash and I knew the food would be expertly prepared and presented to each guest. And it was. Everyone raved about the food. The first course was a wedge salad, followed by three entree options: grilled steak in port wine demiglace with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots; grilled chicken with mango salsa, black beans, rice and fried plantains; or pasta primavera. The final course was slices of cake with petit fours. \r The bartenders and wait staff truly enhanced the evening, ensuring that everyone was happy and content. The DJ, recommended by Bash, played the perfect mix of music to fit the Roaring 20's theme gradually working in later music for people to dance to. \r I highly recommend Bash to anyone, whether you are looking for a happy hour spot (the wings and spinach parmesan dip are delicious), a romantic night out (I recommend Chicken Lisa and the ravioli specials), or to cater your next event - whether large or small, Nikki & Veronica and the Bash crew will wow you and your guests. more

On Thursday, the Boss and her friend Jill, gave Bash a try. I got a phone call and the Boss said 'We have to go back to this place on Saturday night'. Well go, we did!\r \r Bash is a charming, little 12 table restaurant owned by Chef Nikki that if you don't know where you are going, you are sure to miss it. Figure out where you are going ahead of time and, for now, you do not need a reservation.\r \r We started with Hummus (served with homemade pita) and a Spinach Parmesan dip (served with homemade chips). Great starter with our wine. Wine list is not extensive but fairly priced. \r \r For dinner, I tried one of their specials, Grilled Chicken Breast with Apricot and Chipotle, Sweet Potato Fries and Apple Cole Slaw. The Boss had a Ravioli stuffed with pesto and our friends had Meatloaf and a Chicken in a Pecan Crust. Everything was delicious and presented very well and the sides are great!\r \r Save room for dessert! Grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream and a delightful little brownie in a fried wonton with ice cream.\r \r The staff was attentive and there was a little delay with serving but I think it was due to the fact that this place puts a lot of emphasis on freshly prepared food that is presented very nicely.\r \r The manager, Veronica, is incredible who is present throughout the dinner. more
