I was really excited to order from this place...but really disappointed when I actually got the food. To start, the order was delivered cold. Not a deal breaker, just frustrating. The meal was a "family size" order, but the sides were only enough for one-maybe two people (1 piece of cornbread...for a family?). Still not the end of the world. What really ruined my day was when I went to eat the smoked chicken I found the breast to be raw. I didn't even bother to look at the leg and wing...I just threw it out. I really wanted to like this place, but undercooked chicken is a no go in my book. more

Great Events and Sports Bar 12/16/2010

This place always has new and creative events going on. Had Linney-Naughton Palooza in November which had cheap specials and jello wrestling. Always something going on with great service. I've had a private party here also and the management worked well to set it up and got the private rooms upstairs. Also, during weekdays it's a good place to watch the games with cheap weekly specials. Will come back again soon! more

What a party! 2/8/2010

I was dragged out by my brother to the watch the Super Bowl party to this bar. I'm not a big sports girl but this bar threw a party. It was a great time, and they kept me busy with Flippy Cup so I didn't have to pretend to watch the game. I met some fun people, and will probably make my way back on Wednesday, I was informed they have a kegger party and more Flippy Cup. Pros: Very Social customers and staff. more

Don't EVER Go to This Bar 3/4/2009

We threw a fundraiser party here for Rebuilding Together, a non-profit group which provides free home repairs to poor neighborhoods. It was never explained to us that we needed to reach 20 people minimum to have our portion of the cover come back to our group (we had 18 show up). One of the managers, Mike Emmick, asked if we ever got anything in writing (which we didn't) and then pocketed the money that was supposed to go back to Rebuilding Together. It was a small amount of money that would have gone directly to help a poor woman in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. I have no idea how Mike sleeps at night or how I could ever tell anyone to EVER go to this bar. What a complete bunch of pompous low-lifes. more

The Grand Central 11/21/2004

I know this place is supposed to be the new place to be in Lincoln Park, but I would rather stay home. I had a private party there, and it was the worst experience hosting a private party I have ever had. I have hosted several parties in bars all around the city, and I have never encountered such a rude and unaccommodating ""upper management"" at any location, EVER. I know that its a new location, and they still need to work out the kinks but this was unacceptable. The bar was overcrowded, overpriced and the people were just plain rude! Pros: Good Music, Decent Food Cons: , Overpriced, Rude Staff more
