I was feeling adventurous one day and willing to risk $7-8 on dinner so I tried Barbacoa. I had heard it was similar to Cafe Rio which was enough for me to try it out. Well, the set up is similar but the food is not. Portions are small and personally, the first time I went I hardly ate any of my food becuase it was not pleasant. Since then, I have returned and learned their salads are okay. Not great, but edible. Their rice is less than appealing. Their salsa is either really spicy or bland as can be. I would never voluntarily return but sometimes when you are with a group you have to comprise and I now know to get the salad.
