DeKalb Baptist is the only hospital in Fort Payne. They used to be DeKalb County General, but they changed the name of it and also built a new hospital in place of the old one. If one has a choice between the hospital in Scottsboro or this one, they choose this one more. DeKalb Baptist has the greatest, most knowledgeable staff around. The physicians are very nice and hometown like. They really care about you as a patient, and the nurses are some of the best you will ever deal with. I have always liked this hospital. I recommend them.
