Bamboo Fine Asian Cuisine

Bamboo is a new Japanese / Chinese restaurant on Route 62 in Bedford (near the Mitre & the Sun campus, just off exit 26 from Route 3). It's apparently owned by the same folks who run the Mandarin Reading, another great Japanese / Chinese restaurant, with a fantastic lunch buffet. My husband and I visited Bamboo for dinner during the weekend, on a Saturday night so there was no buffet. This is NOT a fast food, greaseball Chinese buffet place. This is a nice Asian restaurant with decor & ambiance to match. You can sit at the sushi bar, or at the tables. The place was busy on Saturday night, but not packed, and there was no wait to be seated. I ordered off of the Japanese menu, he off of the Chinese. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails perfect, and everything was presented in a really lovely way. I'm looking forward to going back for the buffet someday at lunch, since I work nearby. more

Best Chinese food in the surrounding area. The buffet is always good and constantly changing, it offers everything from appetizers to dessert, even salad and sushi. But, I have to say that my all time favorites are the lettuce wraps and the mai tai's. A definite top pick. more

Offering huge variety, and of course some classic favorites, Bamboo is the best Chinese restaurant in town. Impeccable service with a nice, but not imposing atmosphere, make Bamboo one of the best Chinese places for miles. more

Bamboos is hands down the best place to get Chinese cusine in the Westford area. They have a great menu with all types of food and drinks and have great-tasting authentic Chinese food. They also have a really good buffet which I reccomend witha ll types of food. I definetley reccomend this place to everyone more

Bamboo is THE Chinese restaurant around Westford, Chelmsford areas. The place is always packed at lunch. Their Chinese lunch buffet is delicious and decent priced (around $12). Buffet also includes sushi and soup. For dinner, they have a variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes but the price is a little steep (around $30 each). more

I have been to Bamboo twice and had great experiences both times. It has a convenient location (right off of route 110) and the design and decor of the restaurant are nice. As opposed to the other reviewer, I actually thought Bamboo was too cold when I went. I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was because most Chinese restaurants can be pretty dirty Now to the food...great food, almost as good as Chinatown. I would recommend General Gau's chicken and the spicy calamari.. more

This has to be the best Chinese food in the area. The restaurant is always very clean. The hostess is always very pleasant. Once seated, your waiter/waitress is very attentive to details. If you go up the buffet, they clear the table for you, and even re-fold your napkins. Drinks are always full, and the food is always hot and cooked to serve. Prices are reasonable too. more
