Let me just say that I certainly love the lobby at the Loews Hotel, but I don't feel like I should be paying for all that in the price of my spa treatment - which is pretty much what it seems like based on their overpriced services. If I'm paying a lot for a massage, I want the amenities that actually matter, like.... how about a comfortable place to sit while you wait for your treatment? The room they ask you to wait in is terribly stark and bland (not modern, just pathetically unattended to) and there was literally a chair reminiscent of a metal school desk chair. Unbelievable. I could barely sit there. And the ""spa"" is really just a locker room. NOTHING relaxing about it. I thought the staff left a lot to be desired too. The deep tissue massage was actually decent, but the guy was breathing all weird the whole time. Even if they offered the best treatments in philly, I'd rather spend on an overpriced spa experience where the staff actually TRY to make it a nice experience for you.
Cons: NOT relaxing, uncomfortable, overpriced
