Nice atmosphere. Handy place to take a lot of people without a reservation, but the food we had ranged from blah to bleech. Service was OK. more

Good atmosphere, especially out on the deck. Some of the food is really good while other dishes lack flavor. more

Bad Time! 11/20/2007

I hardly have anything bad to say about a resturant, but this time stands out for a bad time. I will never be back! Bad server who did not bring have of what we asked for. Terrible food, and the drinks where watered down! No fun place to be!!! Pros: Good decor, and nice valet Cons: Bad service and food more

Nice place, but be careful 10/27/2007

I used to kind of like this place, but after one of the valets ran me down and broke my leg....lets just say I dont like it anymore. Since BB contracts their valet service out to 717, they didnt want anything to do with what happened. All I was doing was stopping in to get food.....but I never got any food...just bills and laying around my house for a couple months healing. Pros: good food.... Cons: Watch out for their valets! They will run you down and claim it was your fault.... more

GLASS in food! 3/9/2007

Do not eat at Bahama Breeze, Tampa...ever. I cut my mouth on an inch-long piece of **glass** in their black bean soup! The worst part was their reaction. They claim it must have been from a one in a million shot when the fragment flew across the floor after a waiter dropped a glass several feet anyway. Yet they showed no concern for fragments falling in anyone else's food at neighboring tables! I was sitting with my three young nieces and who knows what could have happened in any of us swallowed the glass. For this lovely dining experience (and a napkin soaked with bloood), their response was simply to have us fill out a report and not pay for a meal that we never got to eat anyway! more

Great outside dining patio! 11/14/2006

The pizzas are the best. A streched dough with with toppings that do not overpower. A nice patio to enjoy your lunch, although a night and with the live music it can get a bit crowded. The only drawback, on the intercoastal at low tide it can get a little stagnet and smelly outside. more

Great Family Dining in a Caribbean Atmosphere 7/27/2005

Bahama Breeze is one of your favorite places to take my family. They have a wide variety of food choices--steak, seafood, chicken, salads, pizza. My daughter loves the grilled cheese and fries off the kids menu and the fish tank to entertain her. The service is always excellent and accurate. The waiting time to eat dinner can be a bit long sometimes, but it is nice to wait on the deck with a cool drink and listen to the Caribbean music. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Tampa area. more

Really Amazed at the quality of the food 7/20/2005

Ok I thought it was a tourist trap type of place before I ever visited. But anytime out of towners come in for a visit they want to eat close to the water. I first had just appetizers the first few time we went and they were great. Went back for dinner and I had one of the best filet mignon ever. My husband had fish in a sack which he just could not compliment enough about it. For a chain restaurant this is well above average. Cons: very crowded, parking is limited more

Great evening outing 6/4/2005

I go to this Restaurant at least twice a month. It gives you an island feeling. They have a restaurant inside and a deck outside with live music and a bar. The food and drinks here are just fantastic. Definitly recommend to anyone, young or old. PROS: Best food and service. CONS: None more

Not your usual chain est. 1/29/2004

Hey Bahama Breeze prepares some awesome food. The staff has personality and is attentive to details. I was really surprised. I thought it was limited to a frat party drinking joint. (You can have that too but the dining room is a great place to enjoy a great hot meal). The kitchens are huge and in view. The bartender was hot and my date felt very special. Pros: food, service, ambience more

Not All That 8/2/2003

Been there several times. It is over crowded. The service is poor. (seated 8 at a table which should seat 6). More of a tourist trap than a treasure. Many tourists, and not a place to meet locals Pros: view Cons: too crowded, not for large parties, tourists more

Who knew meat markets served food? 7/2/2003

Okay, okay, so I've been ogled a few too many times at the outside bar to feel truly comfortable there, but I'll go back to Bahama Breeze any day for the great food & drinks! We like to nosh on their great appetizers and their salads are fabulous too. Very good menu selection with original and creative dishes. Pros: Great food, Nice atmosphere, Variety Cons: Dirty old men more

Get Your Drink Face On! 11/27/2002

Awesome restaurant/Club. Live entertainment, great food. We love how we can pull our cruiser boat right on up to the dock and cruise on up for some cocktails at 1 of the several tiki bars located all around the restaurant. Not a place for kids except during the early evening and I am not too sure about that. But man O man, great food and great times. Some of you boaters out there should swing in there when your stomping the bay. more

BaHaMa BrEeZe Is AwEsOmE!! 11/9/2002

When I first went to Bahama Breeze, I went with my family. And just to tell you, I am a very picky eater. We went to the one in Atlanta,Georgia. The service was good, the food was awesome, the atmosphere was beautiful, and overall it was just unbelievable! Whenever we go out to eat on my birthday, we ALWAYS and always will go to Bahama Breeze. I think that Bahama Breeze has become my favortie restaurant. more

Like a short island vacation 8/24/2002

A visit here feels like a mini-island vacation. Food is great and is a really fun party atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful outdoor dining. Servers are super nice, which is good but occasionally get some that are TOO involved in my dining experience: be polite, even funny and make sure our needs are met but we need time to talk and eat by ourselves too...But overall I'd go back and would recommend it. Pros: atmosphere, food taste, great drinks Cons: little pricey, overeager servers more
