I lived in NYC for years and I know from bagels---these are just as good as any in New York! Fresh, chewy, plump, great flavors and seasonings, all made right there and often served warm from the oven. They also have table service with a big breakfast/lunch menu. It can get crowded for Saturday and Sunday brunch but is fine at other times. You can get juice and several flavors of cream cheese to go, and of course coffee, tea, etc. Service is a little lax and parking can be tight at peak times, also hard to get in and out onto York Rd. which is narrow at that point.
