I just got done reading the reviews for Baby Earth and it really shocks me to say the least. I will start by saying Baby Earth Stives to be Friendly and Helpful to ALL customers. Please realize that Baby Earth is like two seperate stores in one. The online store is not the retail store so its unfair to blame the retail store for shipping problems. Everyone is helpful at Baby Earth and they go out of their way to go above and beyond to help a customer. Try going to babies r us or another baby store...kids work there that could care less about you or how your experience goes. Amazon...sure shop there....then you will have NO stores like Baby Earth where People are helpful and you actually get to touch and use products. I don't know many stores that offer FREE Coffee and water and have a kitchen for you to use along with a vending machine with .25 sodas and .50 juice for the kids plus a private area for feeding a weighing station..clean bathrooms equipped with changing stations with FREE diapers, wipes, etc for customers to use. Not only all of this but a load of FREE classes to boot! Maybe yall should sit back and think for a moment. Your not the only person in the world and you are not intitled.so maybe an employee didn't know enough about every product....holy jeez theyve for like 14,000 products...why didn't you all research. That's not fair I think...should I say you suck as a parent because you don't know anything about baby monitors even though you have been looking up monitors online for weeks? Give them a break. Treat them the way you want to be treated. I've had nothing but great experiences there and so has anyone else I've spoken with. So with that please know you will get what you give. I highly recommend more

I have visited BabyEarth several times now and for the most part have had decent experiences. While I think the store carries great merchandise I think that particular employees could be more helpful and knowledgable. My last visit was a particularly bad experience. The employee that ""helped"" me (if you can call it help) was very rude, every time I asked her a question she did not had an answer or suggestion for me and on top of all that I could smell alcohol on her. I don't know if she was unhelpful because she was hungover or because is just really doesn't care that she holds a customer service job where she is supposed to help people (maybe a combination of both?). I think I will think twice before coming back or recommending it to friends/neighbors. I love supporting smaller local businesses but will take my business to big box chains that at least can hire knowledgable, helpful, staff that don't come to work smelling of booze. more

We have visited the Babyearth store in 6/24/2012

I would like to suggest that the statement ?Award winning customer service? on their websiteshould be removed or modify. Perhaps that statement was valid several years back, but is not longer relevant. Conceivably the current management is not paying close attending on how staff behaviors are distressing the overall customer shopping experience. Management is the ultimate responsible party for solving staff behavior issues while definitely paying closer attention to online and other staff comments. Ignoring them, will only generate more issues and less respect for those involve. One or two bad apples are easily replaceable?and it will send a clear message to the rest of the staff. more

About a week or so, we witness a 6/3/2012

About a week or so, we witness a similar flirting touching game while browsing Babyearth warehouse clearance area. We can testify without a shadow of a doubt, that in fact the female employee initiated the inappropriate contact. Conceivably they are not realizing that customers are not welcoming this as a game. Having said that, Babyearth is a great store! more

It's a wonderful store, plenty of 5/28/2012

It's a wonderful store, plenty of parking, free coffee, free classes and great products. The only negative is that some of that staff enjoy huddling at the checkout area to gossip and they get very annoyed when interrupted. We always visit the store in the mornings, so I am not sure if this is perhaps a morning occurrence. In addition, during the Sundayfunday event the parents were commenting about a Babyearth sales staff that shows up to work with hangovers. They had reported the issue to the top management, but that the particular staff still works there. This issue is making their visits uncomfortable. Apparently, management don't care if the customers are uncomfortable during their visits and/or if they have to deal with an hangover employee. more

TERRIBLE customer service! go classy & buy from AMAZON! 8/17/2011

if i can give negative stars, i would. this company has *THEE WORST* customer service. bottom line: they don't respond to emails, don't return phone calls, don't provide return shipping even if it was a gift(!), only offers store credit, no cash back, gives attitude on the phone, & just says ""sorry i can't do anything"" via email. no help!! for details, read on. main points are at the beginning. i was gifted an expensive item from a friend who purchased from babyearth. unfortunately i had the item already, so i didn't need it & had to send it back. --it took THIRTEEN emails back & forth to them before they were able to locate the order# so they could give me the RM #, which i needed for the return. 13!! each email was so useless, too.... ""can i have the buyer's name"" jane doe ""looks like nothing under that name"" okay so now what ""what about their #"" 555-5555 ""looks like nothing under that #"" okay now what... seriously?! each time i had to ask them NOW WHAT to just prompt them for a new helpful tidbit?! ""what about an email address?"" ""what about a diff email address?"" ""what about a diff spelling of their name"".... it was ridiculous. finally this is what i get from them: ""are you sure you received it from us, or from that person?"" are you seriously challenging my intelligence?? YES! the shipping label itself says babyfreakingearth... ""unfortunately there's nothing else we can do then, we can't locate the transaction"". that's your solution???! more emails, more emails, me asking 'what else can you do to help?', now phone calls. then finally ""all you have to do is look on the shipping label, it has the order# on there"" all this time & the solution was THAT simple?! why didn't you suggest that from the very beginning... 13 emails ago!?! --i had to pay for shipping out of my own pocket to return A GIFT! it cost me $30 to return!! even amazon, their direct online competitor(!) offers free return shipping! --the only option for returning i had was to get STORE CREDIT. no return monies. again, even amazon gives the gift recipient CASH BACK to the card of THEIR CHOICE, or the option of online credit. --TEN MORE EMAILS go by while i wait for them to receive the item & process it, meanwhile i'm asking for a status update, telling them how infuriating this process has been, & requesting info on the only item i want to purchase, which there is only one of. apparently they don't care. they don't respond to any of my emails. & of course meanwhile someone else buys that item & it becomes unavailable to me. --during all this, i've put in countless calls, most of which goes to an answering machine ""leave your #, we'll call you right back""... no one calls back. i keep getting voicemail. days & days are going by. --finally someone answers my email & offers me a 10% discount code (""bae868"" for anyone stuck having to buy from them, you can at least get money off your purchase)... a slap in the face when any shmuck can google coupon codes and find similar. so i tell them that's not a fix. what a shocker, no response. also.... as it turns out, the only item that the code CANT be applied to is on the item i want to buy. their response ""sorry"". there's nothing more they can do. then the lady had THE NERVE to say ""you have a newborn baby, right? i'm sure you can find something else to use the discount code on since we carry 14,000 items."" seriously %itch? wow. --my last resort is asking them to at the very least expedite my shipping. oh what a surprise, they WONT! this whole experience has me outraged. especially when i'm purchasing such a high end ticket item ($500) the fact that they offer NO fix, credit, or otherwise is RIDICULOUS! i will never be purchasing anything from them again, & i will make sure to tell all my friends not to either. #babyearth has terrible service & is a down & outright terrible company. go with someone classy & BUY FROM AMAZON!!!! more

NICE STORE BUT LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE 6/4/2011

I ordered a crib here but when it was delivered it was very badly damaged & needed to be returned. Since it was delivered to my daughter's home in Round Rock just 2-3 miles from the store we offered to take it to the store. They said no because of liability issues. Well, it took them a month a a half to make that same 2-3 miles to pick it up. I called every few days to find out why & there was always another excuse or someone else to blame. We ended up buying a crib at another store because of Baby Earth's lack of concern & help. more

Great Customer Service 2/10/2008

I have shopped at the store in Round Rock several times. Originally I was looking for a stroller, and I wanted to look at it in person rather than online. The employee working put the stroller together with me and showed me how to use it. I really appreciated him taking the time to help me out like that. It makes such a difference when you are spending so much money on a stroller to know that it really is the one you want. I was really impressed with the way I was treated. Pros: Great Customer Service more
