I booked my birthday party at babalu lounge on February 2. I was told me and my guest receive VIP treatment such as I don't have to stand on line etc and was told if I purchase bottles up front my table will be reserved. I spoke to Gabrielle from the corporate office and signed a credit card authorization form to reserve my tables for my party.\r
When I got there I spoke to the bouncers who were so rude and nasty! They made me stand on line meanwhile the lounge contract states myself and my guest wouldn't have to stand online. After 20 minutes standing on line in the snow I was allowed in only to find out there were no available tables after I was garunteed a table since I purchased bottles upfront.\r
After waiting 30 minutes with half my party outside on line and half standing around with there coats because there was no more room for coat checks I asked for the owner gungie. He was so unprofessional, rude and arrogant! I couldn't believe how this was happening on my birthday. He then had the bouncers throw my party out of the lounge including myself refusing to give me a refund!\r
This was a nightmare on east tremont ave! I would suggest if you don't want this happening to you and being embarrassed in front of 25 plus guest do not book your party or any event at this establishment!!!
