Great Place for the Kids and for Pre-Game! 3/27/2006

We visit the BYU bookstore every year for Christmas because of their good prices and great selection. They have a creamery, dining area, and treats along with every BYU item you could wish for! If you are a BYU fan and need anything for the game, visit the BYU bookstore for a wide variety! Even the kids will like this bookstore because there are toys and yummy candy! The store itself is very clean and there is definitely a friendly and happy atmosphere present. The creamery is small and does not have a lot of parking, but it is always fun and something we look forward to each year! more

Prime treat spot on BYU Campus! 9/21/2005

The BYU Creamery is a popular hangout for the students on campus. The ice cream is made in that facility and is named after famous people or associations relating to BYU so it makes it even more fun! Try some of the sundaes that they have as well. My personal favorite is the shakes with oreo and reese's pieces in it! more

Excellent Home Made Icecream 8/15/2005

This ice cream palour not only serves up some of the best ice cream around Utah County, but it is also home to some unique flavor creations customary to BYU culture. Flavors featuring LaVell Edwards aren't uncommon, nor are the flavored fries that the Creamery on Ninth serves up fresh from the grill! Try the Tabasco or Pepper fries and grab a great, fresh burger while you're at it too! more

Good Ice Cream 8/12/2005

This is one of the more popular stores on BYU campus. All their dairy products are made on site, so it's especially fresh. They have milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, etc. Their ice cream is great. You can buy it in cartons or you can buy sundaes or banana splits, etc. The Creamery also has all the stuff you would expect to find at a convenience store, with drinks, candy, and some warm food under heat lamps. It's not gourmet, but great if you're in a hurry. more

Excellent Ice Cream 8/9/2005

I love to go to the creamery. I remember the first time I visited the creamery I was in High School. Our band played in a festival at BYU and I was fortunate enough to have time to go to the creamery for a large ice cream cone. Devine! I love what they do with the ice cream. Actually it is pretty traditionally done, but I usually get my favorite, parlines and cream or mint chocolate chip. This really ought to be a tradition for everyone to visit. Be ware it is pretty crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. more

BYU Creamery...yummy food and more 8/2/2005

The BYU Creamery is a great place to go for local dairy food. The ice cream is very creamy at a great price. My personal favorites are Lavell's Vanilla, Pralines & Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cup. The best thing about going to the Creamery is that you can have tours. These are great for the kids. They get to see the machines that make and package the orange juice, milk, and their favorite, of course, the ice cream. They can walk into the giant freezer, too. It's a really fun trip for younger kids. Definitely worth the trip. more
