In addition, I have had my BMW serviced at BMW of Austin for 8 years and I have always left completely satisfied. Scott Liedtke and the staff have consistently provided outstanding service and quick turn around time. Awesome Dealership 9/4/2012

Jay Lafolette with Austin BMW is about as honest of an individual that you will find in the Auto Sales business. Imagine this .... I purchased a lightly pre-owned 750li from him sight unseen. We communicated via email & phone, and pictures and a short video were provided to me by him. He was upfront and informed me of EVERY deficiency there was, up to the smallest of a 1/4" very light scratch under the front bumper. He was there as they loaded the vehicle, and made sure it got to me in Florida. He is AAAAA+++++ more

Our new BMW car buying experience couldn't have been better. From start to finish-Troy our sales associate, made our experience enjoyable. He emailed us the tracking info to watch our car through the production process from Germany to dealership, he kept us updated with information to help us and kept the excitement flowing. Worst Buying Experience 6/15/2012

Terrible buying and service experience at BMW of Austin. Purchased  a 2012 BMW X5M from BMW of Austin back in August 2012. Originally came in July 2012 for a Space Gray/Black X5M. My Client Advisor at the time said there was one in production allotted to another dealer and can get it in 2 weeks.  Upon arrival their was a door ding (Caused during PDI) and a paint defect on the hood. Using a Paint meter i found out the hood was repainted. I brought this to the attention of my Client Advisor and the Sales manager was very rude denying that the hood was repainted.  I cancelled this order. A few days later i decide to give them another chance. We order a silverstone Metallic/Black Fully loaded X5M to be finished by mid August. When this one arrives we add the Ventureshield and Radar per our original agreement.  I get a call from their vendor who installs the ventureshield that their is a defect near the side turn signal. There is also a paint defect on the bumper itself. They take it to their body shop to "touch up" these areas. After a couple of months (1,000 miles on the odometer) the side turn signals originally touched up became loose. When they removed them they scratched the fender. They kept the car for two weeks and gave me a crappy bare bones 3 series loaner. The car was very dirty when i picked it up outside. I did not want a brand new car with paintwork. I asked for a Trade-In appraisal on the car and they were not interested in purchasing the car. The used car sales manager was rude when i requested the appraisal. I had to sell the car on my own. Their loss ive purchased many luxury cars and even had a 2012 BMW M5 on order but canceled it. I also had intent to purchase many more cars from them. My Client Advisor seemed not to care during the whole sales process and the fact i will no longer be doing business with them. Not up to standards of other tier one luxury brands that i have owned. Great way to treat a customer who buys a $100K+ Car. more

I recently bought a pre-owned BMW from this dealership and had a great experience. The customer service is really great and my salesperson was very flexible with my requirements. I had to go out of town for 10 days before i could come in and complete the transaction. The dealership held the car for me, no questions asked. This was my second purchase, and my sister has also recently purchased from the same dealership-we are both very happy. We also spent a good amount of time researching pre-owned values as well as trade-in values, so we know we got a fair price. I also like the service department. They are trustworthy and call it like it is. I may be a female but I am not a dumb broad which is always my anxiety when walking into an auto repair/dealership/tire/parts retailer. In fact, I do my research and have healthy skepticism before I go in. They treated me with courtesy and respect. I would recommend this dealership. more

I recently purchased a 2011 BMW 335i from Larry Stenson at BMW of Austin. Larry was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and easy to work with. The transaction was as smooth as any I've had at a car dealership - and I've been buying cars and trucks for over 40 years now. I feel that I got a very good deal on the price of the car. He knew my situation in wanting to get out of of my 10-month-old identity crisis in the form of a black/black Chevy Tahoe and back into a small, sporty car. I was out in hours with a 328i. Very straight-forward, pleasant purchasing experience 1/15/2011

Our purchase of a new BMW 328i from Larry Stenson at BMW of Austin was the most straight-forward, pleasant car buying experiences that we have ever had. I put in an on-line "dealer quote" request from, and within 30 minutes or so, Larry had emailed me a response and welcomed us to come by for a test drive - and he said that they had a few models in stock that matched our selection of colors and options. We initially test drove the 335i with the Sport Package, and we took it down the twisty, curvey Old Spicewood Springs Road to see how it handled and then up Loop 360 and back on Hwy 183 to see how it drove on the highway. It was VERY nice. We thanked Larry, and told him that we still needed to look at the other 3 cars on our shopping list - Acura TL, Lexus ES 350, and Infiniti G37 Journey. The Acura seems large and cumbersome in comparison to the BMW, the Lexus was very dissapointing - the car floated above the road, with very little "connectedness". The Infiniti G37 Journey was very close, and we really liked the red color, but that only came with a black interior (we like in Austin, TX and it gets HOT in the summer). We were willing to "put up with" the black interior and sat down to start talking finances. The Infiniti dealer would offer us $10, 500 for the trade-in on our 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe, which was $1500 to $2000 less than Edmonds claimed it was worth. We almost bought it, but decided to sleep on it. That evening I sent Larry and email saying that we would like to test drive the less powerful 328i without the Sport Package, and mentioned that my wife was really leaning towards the red color (the Inifiniti looked great, and the BMW brochure that Larry gave us showed that the 3 series was available in red exterior, with TAN interior). Within minutes Larry emailed me back and said he has one in stock that matched that criteria and he would have it ready for us to test drive at 10 AM the next morning. Best dealership experience ever! 9/2/2010

I read some of these reviews and I have to think these people haven't been to the same place I have! I've purchased two cars from Larry Stenson in the sales department and have worked with Thad and Charles in the service department and never have I had an issue. They are always kind and helpful, and I get free loaners cars! If not the cheapest place to do business, the service they provide is certainly worth what little more I've had to pay. But hey...with all my service being free it can't have been much! I love this place, the people and the wonderful cars! They are the best! Don't listen to the 'sour grapes', go see for yourself. You'll be hooked just like me. ;-) more

Great service!! 3/2/2010

I bought a used 2006 330i with 46k from a non-BMW dealer, so naturally i wanted every last thing i could think of that was under the 50k warranty taken care of. I just had the best service experience of my life. No joke...I had 12 issues that needed fixing, from whistling noises to shaky headlights to faulty power windows. You name it, trust me i claimed it. Not only did they fix everything to perfection under warranty ,they even noticed stuff i had missed and fixed that too. Communication and that personal feeling was there start to finish. Oh and my car was washed as well :) The only bummer was for 1 item on my fix-it list, had to be ordered from Germany and is a 2 - 3 week wait. So i have to go back for that, but it'll actually be my pleasure. Dennis and Lonnie ...I salute you! more
