B&D Towing

Locked out in Lafayette a half mile out of town. Walked into town to call. At 9 pm Lamorinda Tow said their driver was in Lafayette, but would take 30 minutes to arrive. I walked back out to my car and waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. Finally gave up and broke out a window to get into the car. Called Lamorinda Tow and they advised me the driver would be another 30 minutes and was on a tow outside the Lafayette area. My take is they lied to me and expected me to wait as long as it would take with no regard for the truth. If they had told me 2 hours I would have called someone else. more

Horrible. Arrogant, disrespectful, not friendly. They towed my car, fine, I understand that and was willing and happy to get it over with. I had to wait outside their gate for 40 minutes until someone showed up to release my car. He pulled up and said with an angry voice "what do you want?". I told him I was there to get my car. He said "It's going to be awhile". OK, so I waited another 20 minutes. Finally got to releasing my car, they charge $165 for towing and $55 a day for storage, just ridiculous. I paid and left. 3 days later I get a notice of sale in 30-days from them. I have my car, I paid and they still send this as though they still have my car? I called in to ask about it and they man who answers the phone disrespectfully says: "you'll have to call back Monday when I am in the office".... If you want to support a towing company that is built on bad business practices, pick Lamorinda towing. If you are broken down, tell AAA to send anyone but Lamorinda towing unless you want bad service and weeks of hassle afterwards. more

Not exactly the friendliest people to deal with, but they will do. At lesat they are there ontime and will be out to where you are in the amount of time they state to you over the phone, especially if you are in the immediate area. I used them through AAA when I locked my keys in my car, and they came right away, I barely had to wait at all. Maybe 15 minutes top. Their customer service could be better, but i woudnt mind using them again. more
