B&B carpet cleaning

I contracted with B & B Carpet Cleaning (Clairco LLC),1357 SR 28, Loveland, Oh. 45140 to get 3 rooms of carpeting steam cleaned. I was assured that the workers would move small items and place paper under the feet. The crew came, said there was a problem with their equipment and they would have to reschedule. I specifically told them to call me first to set up another appt. I left for the day and the crew showed back up without talking to me. Well, no furniture was moved, the carpeting was dry, and there was dirt in the open areas. It did not look like the carpet was ever touched. No one was available to watch them and my wife came home and just signed the work order. In addition, a mistake was made on the invoice in which they overcharged me. It took a month to get a $10.80 refund. The only adjustment they offered was that if I wanted to pay AGAIN , they would give me a 10% discount. Repairs and services are trust sensitive. I do not trust these people or the company. I feel as I have been 'ripped' off. Beware of them and choose a reputable company . I will not let them near my house again. more

Not happy hidden cost more

MIsled us to believe, through their magazine advertisement and their schedule person, that we would need only to move fragile and small items from our bedrooms to be cleaned. When the tech arrived, he wouldn't move even a nightstand. I called the office and the lady told me, no we don't move bedroom furniture and asked why we didn't ask what they would move? Then I said, "Why would I as your customer be repossible for asking what you would move?" Then I said, " Why would you as the vendor and company that does cleaning all the time, not tell us that your only going to clean what you can see?". Call this company if you have an empty house or only a hallway to be cleaned. more

Beware, in and out in 15 mins for my 3 rooms and hall. Said he could clean them then said carpet was bad after the fact. Also need my water and complained he couldn't fill his tank all the way at my expense. Also tried to up charge me. AVOID THIS COMPANY! Also asked for my home address and when in a tiff when I said you don't need that to take my cc payment. Could also be identity thief's? more

I hired B&B to clean a set of stairs, landing, and finished basement. They were in and out within 20 minutes, less time than it takes me to vacuum the area. I noticed no difference in the carpet and called to ask for a redo. The company was so rude on the phone, and difficult to schedule for the appt., it was obvious their "guarantee" is a scam. I was able to use a towel and Resolve cleaner and could actually see the carpets werent cleaned. DO NOT HIRE..WASTE OF MONEY...also, they don't like to come to NKY...inconvenient for them. more

They showed up within their window and were very pleasant, but they seemed to do shoddy, quick work that didn't lift stains that I was able to get only a day later with a rug doctor. It's just not worth paying the money if they're not going to put the effort in to actually clean the whole carpet. They also lied about cleaning under my couch. Not a big deal, the carpet under there never gets dirty, but why lie and say you did it? more

B and B saturated my diding room wall with water when they cleaned my carpets recently. When I called to let them know, they told me it wasn't their fault, that I had a pipe burst in my home! What a crock.... there is no pipe on that side of our home. They even came out and took pictures and I had made copies of some I had taken as well. They just couldn't admit they made a mistake! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! more

I will definitely use B&B carpet cleaning service again - they were fantastic! Carl was extremely polite, friendly, and knowledgable on the phone when I initally called them. He was able to answer all of my questions and gave me advice and pricing. Also, the technician that came out for my appointment, Louis, was funny, knowledgable, and got the job done. All of the stains came out of the carpets; it was a bank owned condo that I had purchased and there were quite a few deep stains that I wasn't sure would come out. B&B was able to do a double cleaning on all of the carpets and provide scotch guard protection for around $200. Not a bad price when the alternative is replacing the carpet for about $2000. I will never contact B & B Carpet Cleaning in Cincinnati again. I just got off the phone (May 3, 2011) with one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to connected with a business. She identified herself as Nikki - a 14 year employee working in the accounting section of B & B. I needed a copy of a receipt for a prior cleaning. Nikki made it clear immediately that she wasn't going to take up her time looking for it. She even said...so, you didn't bother to keep track of it (receipt) and now you want me to take up my time trying to find it! We need the receipt to prove the carpet was professionally cleaned to have the carpet replaced by the carpet maker. Nikki had a 'tone' from the moment she took my call. The company has been to our home several times over the years, but Nikki put an end to that. Almost every week I get an ad in the mail from a carpet cleaning company. Nikki knew we were repeat customers and didn't care. If that's B & B's idea of customer service (and it must be since Nikki's lasted for 14 years)...who needs them? more

I recently had B&B Carpet Cleaning out to my house and they did a great job. I had 5 rooms cleaned for $84.95 and it was worth every cent. When I called the office to get pricing they were so helpful and informative. When the crew came out they were very nice and on time! They managed to get out all of my stains, which I thought would never happen. I have 2 young boys that are always playing out side and tracking it in, or spilling juices. I was so pleased with B&B that I recommend them to all of my friends! more

I had B&B Carpet Cleaning come out to my house that was up for sale about 6 months ago. After we moved all the furniture out, the carpets were looking pretty bad since we have 3 little children. When I called to make the appointment I spoke with a lady named Sarah she was very business like and explained the cleaning process very thoroughly. There were a lot of juice spills and chocolate stains, but B&B got them all removed. I had 7 areas cleaned for $104.95 and the pre treatment was included! I just recently had them back out to our new home for more juice spills & once again they did an incredible job! more

My husband & I hired B & B to clean our carpets after his family trashed my house over the holidays. The technicans were able to remove spots that I thought were permanent. They really took their time and did a great job. We were impressed! more

Left stains on the stairs that appeared to be dirty water stains. I was having company that weekend and they would not come back out until the middle of the following week. I cleaned the stairs myself and asked only for a refund for the stairs, I had 11 areas cleaned. I was told no, they would come back the following week. I requested to have a manager or supervisor call me. I have yet to hear back. Needless to say, I will not use them again or ever recommend them to anyone. more

I hired B & B Carpet Cleaning to clean our carpets in November. I explained that we had a number of puppy stains on our carpet and asked SPECIFICALLY what product(s) they would be using on our carpets, what they recommended additionally, and the cost of everything all together. They quoted me $84.99 for 5 areas of cleaning. When asked specifically about the pet stains and anything additional they may need to use, the exact response was "Mam, all of that is already included in the price." When B & Bs employee showed up, he said he needed to use a deodorizer and stain guard (which I was previously told was already included in the $84.99) and that it would cost a total of $325. The man was adamant that we "needed" these other products "otherwise the house would smell." Thus, we paid the $325. The man completed the ENTIRE job in only 30 minutes!!! Afterwards, the carpets were no cleaner. I called B & B immediately and detailed my concerns. I received a phone call back from the man who actually completed the carpet cleaning- not a manager apologizing or trying to make it better. I contacted the manager about their 10 day guarantee and requested that a different employee return to clean the carpets. I specifically said that I did not want the same man to come back. The manager agreed to send someone else out. Despite my request, B & B sent the same employee. I watched as he "cleaned" our carpets, this time for no more than 20 minutes!!! When they were finished, they gave me a receipt to sign. In big bold letters in the middle of the paper, they had written, "She thinks she can clean the carpets better herself," which I had said in a surge of anger after the 1st cleaning. Underneath, someone wrote, "No she can't!" I was astounded by the unprofessional manner at which these two men handled themselves... despite a second "cleaning", we were left with dirty wet carpets instead of dirty dry carpets and a $325 hole in our pockets. Moral of the story? DO NOT HIRE B & B CARPET CLEANING! more

Horrible work, $250 & 2 days wasted. 53 year old Mr. Cheyenne was very pleasant during his initial visit but seemed resentful that he had to return to clean the entire upper level since they looked untouched.Perhaps they should actually move furniture, because they did not move one piece of furniture in our home. Nor did they comment regarding any stains that would not come out. They just seemed to give the floor a once over pass unless you are in the rooms with them, which I was not, and then Mr. Cheyenne requests their payment and they are gone leaving your carpet the same as before they arrived.Upon his second visit to the home he had an immediate attitude about returning to the home and when he was asked to go over a spot in the very first room that he was RECLEANING he forcefully removed the other carpet cleaner Shane from the carpet cleaning job in an effort to intimidate my wife who held her ground. They then walked through our home and used our home phone WITHOUT permission to call their home office during this horrible re-cleaning of our carpets while Cheyenne was still making excuses for the poor first cleaning the first time that they were in the home.Upon calling Nicky while both gentlemen were still in our home, the previous review was right on target, Nicky was completely usless as a manager and only made more excuses for her cleaning crew without any effort to rectify the problem. She did seem to enjoy the verbal exchange with my wife and since I was on the line with my wife when the call regarding the crew was made to Nicky, I can verify that Nicky does try to talk over her customers in an effort to cover for Mr. Cheyenne had no desire to rectify the problem and offered no refund or credit for the $40+ spent on the Stainguard that was sprayed in one of the rooms that needed recleaning that Mr. Cheyenne never recleaned. My wife paid approximately $250 to have the entire home cleaned and since the check cleared there has been no offer of a refund and this company will never re-enter our home. more

We had all of our carpet and some furniture cleaned several weeks ago. The cleaners did not move any furniture and did not place any protective plastic under chairs or table legs where the carpet was wet. The workers were not very professional and were rather stand offish. I would not use this company again. more

Wow B&B came to day to clean my carpets I have a small home and they did 3 areas. They worked quickley and they did a great job. my carpet was realy bad and now it looks great. The work men didn't try to push any extras on me like most companys do and i realy apriciated that. They also gave me some great tip on how to get rid of future stains. He said if you have a GREASE stain to use WD-40 on it and then clean it. Also that white wine takes out red wine. The price for 3 areas was 45.95 plus tax. I plan to call them next time I have my carpet cleaned. more
