HOWDY!!! BBKings? The very best that nashville has to offer!!! If you wanna treat yourself like a king then thats the place to be!!! Its really a great gift from heaven and a true blessing to be there on a friday night!!! The band is fantastic!!!, The food is delicious!!!, The place is majestic!!! And the girls wild and hot!!! What else can a man ask for??? I would recomend a long island tea and the 12 oz. USDA BOURBON GLAZED RIBEYE 28 Hand cut to our specifications, this is the juiciest and most flavorful of all steaks. Fire-grilled with brown sugar bourbon glaze and well marbled for peak flavor. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans more

Spectacular Food 12/8/2010

Don't go for food/sevice. Good house band. 8/27/2010

Don't go for the food or service. Food and alcohol are way overpriced. $8 for a warm draft beer. Steak was ordered medium rare but came out well done, which was sent back and this was after an hour and a half wait after we ordered. Salmon ($19) was ok, nothing special. Rice was over cooked and they must have scraped the bottom because it was hard. Paid $5 a piece to get in at 6:50. Server was nice but very slow to get drink orders and never refilled our waters. The manager did take the steak off our bill but after $10 to get in and a $62 bill (that's without the steak) I would expect more for $72. House band was very good...the only good thing from the night. more

BEWARE!UNSAFE!!! worst club EVER 8/15/2009

BE WARY! We went to have a good time. All we encountered 100% unsafe environment. I had items stolen directly off my body. When we asked employees and managers for help (as we knew who had done it), we were confronted with rudeness and 100% lack of helpfulness. I would NEVER go to this club again. Well, maybe if I had items I wanted to get rid of but didn't have the time to drop off at goodwill. I cannot warn you enough about this place. I also know someone who was drugged at this club (which I only found out about after my experience). Pros: none- don't even deserve the one star I'm giving. Cons: too many to list more

BB would be ashamed. 12/9/2008

I would like to inform you of the behavior, attitude, and lack of courtesy and concern we received from your Bar Manager, Susan Zoesch, during an atrocious experience we had at BB King's Nashville during the BB King concert on Dec. 9th. I realize that the fifty dollar per person standing room ticket does not entitle anyone to VIP treatment, but I believe it entitles the purchaser to at the very least have the PA speakers for the standing room section to be turned on. The service we received for our meal and drinks for the 2 hours prior to the sound debacle was courteous attentive and professional. When sound did not improve by the third song of BB's set (not to mention the completely inaudible opening act), I felt I was not getting my money's worth and asked to see a manager. The bartender (he was a young man with tatoos and was working the back bar) was very courteous and agreed that sound was a problem, and immediately went to get the manager. He informed me that he was already speaking to my wife and directed me to the lower bar cash register were Susan and my wife were. Susan stated (her words) "There are plenty of people up there with your same problem. There is a problem with sound." When we asked for a refund for our tickets and to leave, Susan turned to enter my credit card information and used a curse word meaning cow manure. We were well within earshot. We were absolutely mortified. There was no apology or any attempt to rectify any part of the situation. I am a lifelong fan of BB King. I was heartbroken. Shame on you for being representatives of one the greatest ambassadors of American Culture and Class, to treat B.B.'s fans, in B.B.'s club, in B.B's presence, so shabbily. I pray that the giant of a man that BB King is, never hears of how his fans, (and patrons of his namesake establishment,) received so little consideration, or courtesy. For Shame. Pros: Bartenders were courteous. Cons: Management was surly and unproffesional more

Fun, and great live bands.... 6/25/2008

This is a great place to go with a group of friends for dancing and music. Admittedly I couldn't tell you what the food tastes like, but the bar makes a mean Washington Apple and the band is always good, the music is mainly geared toward a more mature blues, 70's loving, R&B kind of crowd. But that's what keeps us coming back. Pros: The band, and bar Cons: Hard to keep a table more

Very Nice 1/24/2008

I am from California and I came to Nashville to visit a friend. We made a few stops and this was one of them. This is a very nice place. Maybe a more mature crowd. Friendly staff, good music. A great place to have a drink, listen to music, and just enjoy. Not a wild or crazy place if that's what you are looking for. I would definitely go again! more

B.B. King's Caliente Night is the best salsa nights in town if you don't like crowded places 12/26/2007

I went to BB Kings on Saturday for the salsa nights downstairs, Caliente Nights and I was very pleased with the friendly atmosphere. The bartenders and the band member were very nice. I liked that is was not very crowded and the dancing floor was very open. This is the only place that has a live latin band in town. I love that. Check it out! Pros: Great price, great music, nice people Cons: sometime you have to call and find out if there will be Salsa that week more

Great staff, great food, great music 6/16/2007

I have been to BB Kings on several occasions, and I have never been dissapointed. I the food is EXCELLENT! I am not a big fan of hot wings, but theirs are amazing. The overall atmoshpere is great. Last time I was there, they were packed, but our waitress was still very personable, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. It is one of those clubs that you can literally lose track of time in because you are having such a good time! Pros: everything!! Cons: it is a little higher in price, but worth every penny! more

Go mid-week 4/14/2006

I've heard a lot of people say they were tripping over other patrons, but I went on a Tuesday, had a fantastic time, and it really wasn't that busy. Parking wasn't a big deal, either, because there were metered spaces available (the meters don't require coinage at night). Pros: Unique atmosphere, LIVE Blues music!, Ideal location Cons: Can be crowded, Expensive drinks more

Great for groups 3/7/2006

B.B. King's is a great place to go with a group of friends. It is very crowded so I would recommend reservations. I went with a group of 13 for 3 friends' birthdays, and when we let the band know that it was a birthday night, they sang a song for my friends. We even saw a couple get engaged! B.B. King's is great for all kinds of people just looking for some good food and music. Make sure you bring a little money to the bathroom! :) Pros: music, food, service Cons: Parking - use garage, crowded, expensive more

Great Bar for Great Music 1/2/2006

I love BB Kings. I go every chance I get when I am with my friends. I was down there and caught a great show in the Blue Room downstairs. It was Sky Taylor. I had never seen that place as packed as it was that night. She brought down the house. I love that venue so much. It is just the right size. It is small enough to be quaint, but roomy enough not to be sufficating. I love there. Pros: live music, size, staff Cons: can get crowded more

Nice Addition to Nashville 7/10/2005

Lets face it if your not into country music, what did Nashville have to offer. BBKings in a nice addition to 2nd Ave. Parking is not that far away, If you go early is not bad at all. Nightlife downtown starts about 11-12 at night. BB Kings is one place YOU DON'T want to miss. Service is awesome, Friendly, Music was fab. Missing, SINGLES. Mainly couples. But take a friend and enjoy the music, best in TOWN. Alittle pricey, not bad for special occasion. LOUD Pros: Music, Service, Atmosphere Cons: LOUD, Pricey, food more

Perfect Evening!!! 4/24/2005

BB King's on 2nd Avenue has definitely taken a turn in the right direction! The new menu is exquisite and rivals many higher priced restaurants in town. If you haven't been down to BB's in a while, you are really missing out! The service is great, the food is exceptional, and the music can't be beat! Pros: great food, great service, atmosphere Cons: sometimes very busy more

Customer Service - Terrible 4/20/2005

Two months ago I reserved seating for twelve for a bachlorette party. I printed out invitations with all the information for this event to be held on 5/14/05 @ 8:00. These invitations were mailed to all out of town guests. I recvd a call yesterday 4/20/05 explaining my reservations had to be rescheduled. No explanation as to why or were sorry or how can we accommodate you for this inconvenience. I now have less than two weeks to cordinate this event. Would I recommend BB KIngs - ABSOLUTLEY NOT. Great Place!! 4/17/2005

I went to BB Kings on Saturday with a group for the first time in about a year, and it was absolutely great, the food was the best I have ever had, the service was good, and the music was outstanding! It was good last year, but the changes in food and service have made it amazing. BB Kings Rocks! Pros: music, food, service more
