I came to this store with a broken IPhone 4 screen needing replacement. I asked the guy to please replace my screen with a brand original part.
The indian guy said the whole thing had to be replaced and it would cost me $149 and be ready in an hour. I said fine, reasonable, gave him my name and number and left the store. I noticed the guy could not even write my name right, or phone number right, and wrote everything on a posted note...had a bad feeling but moved on.
Three hours pass by and I don't hear from this people so i call in and ask what the status of my repair. The guy made some excuse that they were busy and could not call me but the phone was ready. Fine, I go to the ATM pick up some cash (since these people don't take credit cards) and I walk over to go pick it up,
When I inspected my phone, I noticed that the borders around the screen are a lot more noticeable than before. I also notice that the home button is buried deeper than before, so the edges around it are very defined. Lastly, when I turn on the phone I noticed that my beautiful retina display is opaque and not as clear and as before.
I patiently express my discontent to this and I am baffled that this guy could not understand the difference between the before and after. He was in denial that there was any difference. Lastly he had no patience to try to work this out with me and tells me that there is a better screen he can install but will cost more money....I go so what screen did he put on my phone the cheap one??? I did not agree wanted my money back but he refused and asked me to call the cops.
After some back and forth he agrees to give me my phone back but to give him $55 for the restocking fee. I wanted nothing to do with this guy and rather had my phone worked more professionally so I give him his fee and he takes his cheap screen off and returns my phone with the old broken screen.
Bottom line, avoid this people because they don't work with you and if you don't agree with them they yell at you and offer terrible customer service.
