Had a lunch here with co-workers. Waitstaff was very attentive, food was delicious (highly recommend the shrimp bisque!), and their dessert case is amazing. Only negative was how loud the restaurant was. It was almost impossible to hear the person sitting across from me. more

Recently relocated from the NYC metro area, I've struggled to find good restaurants in Jax. BB's is an exception. I've dined there several times from simple apps at the bar, salad and 3 course meal. Each and every meal was very good. Consistency with such a changing menu is often difficult. \r \r When I cannot make up my mind where to eat and want I nice meal I head to BB's. \r \r Just a word of caution - the place can get loud. This does not bother me but could be a put off for some. The hard surfaces do little to deaden the sounds from the popular bar.\r \r If you do dine here, leave room for desert. I recommend a view of the desert case before you order your meal.\r \r Salads are always excellent - fresh and crisp. I often have them as a meal. Pros: Consistently good food. Cons: Can be noisy. more

While they don't take reservations, you can put your name on a call-ahead list with a specific time. We did this and were seated within five minutes of our time on a weekend evening. My husband & I went here on our anniversary. The food was outstanding - each and every morsel was better than the last. And THEN, the dessert - how to choose? The dessert was as beautiful as it was delicious. \r The service was impecible! The airconditioning was blowing at our table so our waiter offered to move us and brought me a wrap. \r The atmosphere was lively and the decor modern - a great overall experience! more

we are visiting here this weekend and this restaurant was recommended by the Radisson hotel where we are staying. The food was excellent, with great interesting and some original salad dressings, a variety of seasonings, and sides. Our waiter was wonderful, friendly, helpful with suggestions and fast!! We ate outside, had no problem getting a table on a Friday night at about 6:00 or so, although the cars kept coming and coming, (and going and going.....) BB's is a great fine dinig experience. An alternative menu to other restaurants that are out there. Great service, food, & wine list. If you're in the mood for brunch this is an excellent choice. And anytime you're just feeling like you want dessert, this is the best choice in town. Decadent, flavorful, and desserts you can't find anywhere else. more
