I was looking for a place for brunch on my way to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. I was told about this eatery and checked the reviews. In spite of some of the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We couldn't be happier with our decision. We walked in and found a couple of empty tables. We were immediately seated at our choice of table. The place was absolutely charming. Cozy alcoves, great lighting, indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive servers. Humongous Portions. Fresh Food. And above all, the food was scrumptious! Leave some room for dessert and try either the cheesecake and/or the three layer mousse. You will not regret it. I know that I will be there at every trip I make to South Florida. more

The service was terrible. Music too loud. They serve no alcohol. Portions were small and over priced. Pizza was pretty good though however got a stomach ache from the food. I will not be going back. more

After reading reviews I was nervous to come here. We walked in and we were seated immediately. Service was outstanding. All the waitresses serve you as a team. Food was delicious. Will make this a regular eatery for myself and my family. more

I left my iPhone at Mozart cafe / Avigdor's Mozart Cafe Hollywood, FL Saturday night after eating a burnt cardboard tasting pizza and a salad that had frozen tomatoes. \r Anyways I called up Mozart cafe / Avigdor's Mozart Cafe the following morning for the iPhone and they said they never saw it. So I decided to go to Mozart cafe / Avigdor's Kosher Coffee & Bakery and I met Niv the manager/owner(the bold israeli) he told me straight to my face that he was very very sorry that someone must have stolen it, after all it is an iPhone. \r \r But I did not give up and I went back to Mozart cafe Sunday afternoon and explained to Niv(the manager/owner) that I had gps tracked it and the location shows that it is here in the Avigdor's Mozart cafe in Hollywood, FL. After hearing this Niv started turning colors and started to sweat, he started acting very nervous and discombobulated; he rang up a customer's pizza for $11,000. The moment I said I traced to phone to Mozart café's address, you can see on his face he had the phone. So I told him that I'm leaving and that he better produce the phone or the police will get involved. He then told me that he will "ask" every employee "again" and that he would call me. \r \r An hr later I called back Mozart cafe Hollywood, FL and he said he is "double checking" and I reminded him that I know the phone is there and if it is not returned that the police will get involved. 15 min later I get a call back saying that he had "found" the phone in the "trash"(24 hrs later ...what a joke...) and I should come and pick it up. I'm happy I have the phone back. But Mozart café / Avigdor's Kosher Coffee & Bakery Fort Lauderdale, FL is garbage, the owner/manager is a dishonest thief and the food is terrible. Niv, if you read this mate I never had gps tracking on the phone and my uncle is not a cop it just comes to show what a low life you are and what kind of business you are running. Great doing business with you. Thank you for ruining my super bowl Sunday. more

Where do I start? I came in no one greeted me. After 5 minutes of standing while employees just looked at me, I asked if I could sit outside. Girl said yes someone will be right with you. After 15 minutes of no one coming to our table I had to : get menus for my table, write everyones order, take it to the waitress, AND tell her what table number we were. On top of that they got our orders wrong, forgot an entree, and continued to ignore us while 3 servers eagerly waited on the table right next to us (who were all wearing Jewish circle-hats) After we told one server we were missing an entree he just said ok and went over to the Jewish table and started cleaning it up with no regard for our missing entree. No one brought us silverware or napkins, no one asked us how our food was and no one ever paid any attention to us. \r BOTTOM LINE: If you want service at this restaurant you either need to be Jewish or Israeli, otherwise they wont even look at you. If your gonna go, bring a jewish friend or your screwed. ALSO, food used to be WAY better, now its just slop, no care, no love, no flavor, NO SERVICE!!!! more

It is my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic. The last time I was there two weeks ago, we had to most delightful helpful waiter. The parking has improved. They will park your car for free without any problem since the lot is small and so many people come to eat. My favorite is the pizza. It is the best crust and the taste is yummy. I should take part of it home but I can't stop eating. Also my favorite is the mint tea. If you go once, you will return. I don't know what is wrong with everyone else who wrote a review. This Bubbe knows food and I give it the top review. more

Horrible service. I ordered a pizza and an hour later they came back with one pita bread you would find as an appetizer topped with feta cheese. Somehow they don't understand what pizza means. Way too slow. I'm writing this now and I still didn't receive my food yet. Please avoid this place at all costs. If you want to enjoy a nice normal pizza without waiting an hour and a half, go to an italian restaurant. more

After complaining to managment because I got sick, and had heard from former employee's how dirty the place was I finally called the health department. They closed it down for a week for bugs, sewerage, food handling and lots of other violations. The help even pointed this out to the Rabbi inspectors with no results. They were just interested if the kosher rules were being met. Disgusting. I'm sure things will not change. more

This is one of my favorite places to eat, the food is great the atmosphere is also really nice, what I don't like it's the parking it's really small and always packed. Also it takes a really long time to serve your food. It's worth it anyway! Super healthy, clean and yummy food. more

I love the food there. I've been eating there for a few years. My issue is the service sucks!!!\r I get there, order a sandwich and a coke, the drink takes 20 minutes and the food another 10. And that's being generous. I went in one day and ordered pasta. It took the waitress 30 minutes to come back and tell me they were out of sauce. The owner was there, so he apologized profusely and took care of the bill.\r I was there one night for a party, the waitress asked us to move because there were people waiting, we hadn't ordered and there were only four of us. Well, there were actually 15 of us, we had already ordered half the food, and were waiting for a waitress to come take the other half of the order.\r If your looking for great food, and have TONS of time, than this is the place more
