Great Experience 10/6/2010

I bought a new Accord, I did the whole negotiation through the internet department with the assistance of Mr. Gerardo Escallon, who was Excellent, no hidden fees and everything was delivered as promised. The paperwork process could had been a little bit shorter but overall I'm very happy with my experience with this dealer. more

I hate buying a car, I was talking to 3 different dealers and on the phone I thought I was getting great deals . I went to Pompano Beach Honda when I got there they lied both about having the vhicle and the price same experience with Rick Case. Now the one that finally did everything right was Lourdes Diaz Internet Manager at Maroone Honda of Miami, she had the vehcle ready and washed when I got there got a great price and everytime I called her which was many times she was always professional and honest she seemed to care more about me than selling a car . I know where I am going to buy all my cars from now on. more

Surprising good experience 9/25/2010

This is the first time that I go to a dealer and don't get upset. Great experience, I negotiated the Deal trought the internet department with the sales Manager, Gerardo Escallon, he was excellent, no hidden fees, the price didn't change, the paperwork took a litle bit longer than I was expecting but I got everything that I was promised without any problem. So far the best service I had in the car business. more

Amazing experience 9/14/2010

I read the reviews before going in and was a little frightened but I went in and talked to william!!! Don't buy with anyone else! He is the best, most honest sales man ever! He helped me,my mom, my sister and my dad. Everyone else might be liars but he's awsome! Did a great job working with my credit score(not to good) and still got me a great deal. Don't forget ask for william!!! more

WE TELL HIM WE ARE INTERESTED IN A CERTAIN CAR BUT INSIST ON SHOWING US ANOTHER. HE THEN SEEMS TO BE FRUSTRATED AND SHOWS US A DISGUSTING MAXIMA THAT WAS DESTROYED INSIDE AND OUT! AFTER WALKING AROUND AIMLESSLY HE SHOWS US SOME CARS ONLINE, WE FIND A GREAT ACURA TL AND WANT TO SEE IT BUT ITS IN A LOCKED WAREHOUSE WHO NO ONE HAS ACCESS TO (MIND YOU ITS LABOR DAY WEEKEND A BUSY CAR BUYING WEEKEND) STATED ITS TOO FAR FOR HIM TO GO GET IT HIMSELF AND I WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL TUESDAY. (DONT YOU WORK OFF COMMISSION?) WE THEN PRESSURE HIM TO ASK HIS MANAGER TO SPEED THE DELIVERY AND HESITANTLY HE DOES. AFTER LEARNING THEY ARE ABLE TO DELIVER THE CAR THE NEXT DAY WE TURN TO SAY BYE, HE PROCEEDS TO SNEEZE INTO BOTH HANDS, THEN EXTENDS FOR A HANDSHAKE (REALLY?, DO YOU REALLY THINK I WAS GOING TO SHAKE YOUR INFESTED HANDS?)... THANKS TO THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I ENDED UP GOING STRAIGHT TO CARMAX AND PURCHASED MY DREAM CAR.... MAROONE HONDA OF MIAMI YOU LOST A CUSTOMER AND A SALE.... SHAKE THAT. more

Every sleazy dealer trick in book 9/30/2008

We made a great deal through the ""internet department"" of Maroone Honda Hollywood. We got the price we wanted on a Honda Civic. We were encouraged to come in to sign papers. That's when the nightmare began. As soon as we got to the dealership, the sales and financing staff threw every sleazy dealer tactic at us that I've ever heard of. We had done our own research, so we had answers for everything. First, they tried to tell us that being self-employed wouldn't work, because Honda was a ""stickler"" w/financing. We responded that our credit was excellent. Then, they said we didn't have enough credit. When we pointed out that we had had established credit for over 5 years with a good available credit/debt ratio, they ""realized"" they had misread the sheet, and went back to check rates again. They came back with a horrible offer, longer loan term than we wanted and 1000's more down. They gave us the ""first time car buyers"" routine. We wouldn't budge, so they dropped the atrocious APR by 2 percent. We then asked if they could do our loan term. They said yes, but the APR would be the same. We wouldn't take it and walked out, the man said ""well good luck because you're not ever going to get a better rate."" Pros: Pretty good selection, willing to go low on car prices Cons: Horrible ""good cop, bad cop"" routine, rudest finance manager we've ever met, shady financing add-ons more

Go anywhere BUT Maroone Honda of Miami 4/18/2007

If you want a bunch of lies, and want to deal with a bunch of unnecessary stuff after you get your car from here, this is the place to go. I bought a car a month and a half ago from these people, and have had nothing but problems. Should have known better when they told me I should just take it to the dealership to get it fixed because it was under warranty (BMW). Sent a certified letter requesting refund money be sent to me, and they send it to someone else. Classy. Unethical and unreliable people and staff. Miguel Catalano was my sales guy. Bob was the guy in financing. Pros: selection Cons: professionalism, courtsey, pressure to purchase, wanted to get me out b/c I knew they were trying to take my money and wouldn't let them more
