Great Service 10/15/2012

The salesperson at Audio Sensations was very helpful and knowledgable. I purchased A rear DVD system for my car that other places said they could not do because I have a sunroof. The installation looks great !!!\r The installer took time to show me how to operate the system, Everybody at Audio Sensations was very helpfull, I will recommend them to all my freinds. This is obviously a disgruntled employee, as he states in other reviews around the web. To start with, the chicken nugget behind the counter happens to be the owner, who has more experience than probably 90% of the electronic stores out there, as she is complimented on her knowledge and professionalism on almost a daily basis by customers. This former employee also installed all the equipment himself in a very sloppy and unprofessional manner, not by us. We at Audio sensations stand behind all product we sell, however when a former inexperienced employee or customer decides to install the equipment himself improperly, that is not our fault. We are aware of this person and we cannot resolve a problem when we did not do the installation in the first place. We sell all high quality equipment and our salespersons and installers are very experienced within our field of work. Let me also inform that all the equipment he bought from us totaled about $3800, all high end equipment not just stuff laying around in stock. This is ridiculous that anyone can go and write an unjustified review, the whole issue is he is unqualified to install a system of that magnitude and had continued issues due to poor or inproper installation. Audio Sensations never did any work in his vehicle !!! more

Horrible place to go. Wish I never spent a dime in this place. Sold me what they had in stock not what I wanted. They saw me as a dollar sign coming thru the door. The person I dealt with she seemed fake with artificial genuine quality about her like I'll be yur best friend but what I really want is all yur money. That is horrible way to run a business and have no repeat customers. Now on to my unsatifatory crappy over priced equipment I bought. Again they sold me what they had in stock not what I wanted. For the 12,000 dollars I spent in total including all the replacement equipment I bought at sounds of tristate. With half the money I spent I could of had a killer system from sounds of tristate. it almost seems that their head installer is not appricated and recognized for his hard work and devotion to the company. He needs to be working in a high quality shop working with professional people. In closing don't go to this place a waste of time money with a lot of aggravation. more

Just had a big system installed in my car. I bought everything from audio sensations, I did the Internet thing on one of my last cars thinking I was saving money, not so. After a defective amp, weeks later blown subs paying to have removed , shipping back to Internet and cost reinstalling it cost me way more than if I would have just bought were I was getting it installed. I did all Phoenix Gold speakers and amps, kept my factory radio and used clean sweep from Jl audio. These guys were very professional from start to finish, system sounds awesome and if I have any issues they'll take care of it all under warranty. Great experience , highly recommend to all \r \r more

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely horrible.. 5/4/2012

Wow, where do I start? I guess I am partially to blame because I should have listened to everyone who said not to go here. But I figured, how bad could it be? It's a simple audio install right? Well, I made a mistake. Their install was horrendous and they all but took a sh*t on my car. Broken tabs, missing pieces, electrical issues.. just horrible. A 5 year old could have done a better job. I have no idea where they find these clowns who say they know what they're doing but I can assure you they do not. It's almost like someone's playing a mean joke on you.. like Ashton Kutcher or Justin Bieber is about to jump out and say ""You just got punked!"" But there was no Kutcher, no Bieber.. they really are just that bad. DO NOT GO HERE.. if you do, you'll learn the hard way like I did. more

I thought I was buying a high end system... 4/26/2011

I had $2,500 to spend on a sound system a couple years back and figured Audio Sensations would be the place to go. Boy, was I wrong. I ended up going with the following based on their recommendation for the best sounding system for the money. 12"" JL W6 w/ ported box 4 component speakers + 2 tweeters - All JL Two JL amps, one 500 watt for the sub and one for component set My sub amp frequently overheated, and my sub would turn off when this happened. The amps frequently fell of the board they were mounted on. I went through 5 pairs of tweeters before they stopped replacing them for free, amps were tuned by Audio Sensations. Sub started sounding like junk for no apparent reason, and was never pushed past 500 watts as recommended by JL even though many people said it could easily handle 700, I figured I would try to make it last. Eventually I ripped out all of their wiring, and replaced with my own wiring. Replaced all of their cross-overs, and had a friend tune the amp and re-wire the head unit. After all of this was done my system was much better than it had been throughout 10+ trips to Audio Sensations. It sounded great for a short while, but I would not recommend them and have not visited their shop since. Don't make the same mistake I did. more

Excellent service at Exton Location 9/22/2010

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to compliment Jon and his team at the Exton location for making great equipment recommendations and doing excellent installations. This summer, they did an amazing job on my Yukon XL (head unit, amp by-pass, front and rear speakers). Last week, they did an install in my wife's mini-van that absolutely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Jon and the Exton location to anyone looking for fair prices and a superb installation experience. My third car will be going in January for a new rig! more

The Best 9/18/2009

The guys there are very knowledgeable about the product they sell and the cars they install them into. When I first got my Scion Xd (a pretty uncommon car) it had only been out for 6 months, and these guys were ready and able to hook up my sub. Years later/ many modifications later, I'm still going to these guys for their top notch customer service and professional installs. Also just the other day I had a few things installed, it was done so well, you can't tell weather these guys did it or if Toyota did it. Many thanks to Jon and Rodney for their awesome work, can't wait to modify the wife's car! Pros: They know thier stuff. Cons: None. more


I'll tell you off the bat, the manager that was snotty, is no longer there. John is now in charge and he knows his business. I've been taking my vehicles to them for over 10 years and they have always taken care of me and my vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to go there. Great Service Team and Follow Through 4/21/2009

These guys have done work on 3 cars for me at their Pottstown location. I will continue to bring my car audio and detail business to them. Andy made sure I got a fair price on the units and John made sure the installs were the way I wanted. \r One of the installs was in a new car and was ordered through the dealer. The dealer told them I wanted a Sirius tuner, so that's what they put in ( I wanted XM). After trying Sirius for a while I decided Sirius was not for me (interface on Pioneer AVIC, not good) and that I wanted XM instead. Andy did the exchange at no charge to me. Now the system is awesome. This is just one example from the 3 cars I've had done at Audio Sensations.\r Let's face it when your working with electronic parts it is inevitable that at sometime, something will go wrong, but rest assured Andy and his crue at Audio Sensations will make sure the deal is a good one for you and that is why I will be going back for my next stereo.\r One more thing.....For another car I bought a stereo ""cheaper"" online and had it installed at a ""big chain"" and by the time you added all the install charges, it cost me more than if I would have gotten it from Audio Sensation in the first place. I read the other reviews for them after I dropped my car off. Kinda scary even though the consensus was positive. No worries folks! They did the job as promised, on time and for less than the original estimate. To me that means they not only met my expectations, they exceeded my expectations. If you have to wait for your vehicle there are plenty of good places to shop or eat in easy walking distance.\r \r Not to mention that the total for parts and labor was about 10% of the quote I got from the Mercedes dealer. Go Elsewhere 12/26/2008

Avoid this place at all costs. I've installed several remote start systems in my own vehicles. This time I just didn't have time so I shelled out the extra dough to have it professionally installed. This was not a professional installation. After $300 dollars spent I have a remote start that works from a max of about 40 feet from the vehicle, no hood pin safety switch installed, my trunk-pop switch inside the car no longer works, and the alarm goes off constantly with no way to turn it off. I have to wait for it to time out. In addition, they gave me no owner's manual with my unit. I had read some bad reviews on this place but chose to ignore them figuring they were just the few unhappy customers. Not the case, these guys don't give a darn about repeat business. I'd take it back to be fixed, but I don't want these guys anywhere near my vehicle. more

Terrible Customer Service 3/31/2008

Did a great job installing everything. The manager is horrible and that is why I gave them 2 stars. He was sopposed to get some information for me after my install I called every other day trying to get an answer always getting a run around. So after a week and a half I went down to get a refund for the product and he tells me I'm a j erk. You should never call a customer a j erk especially when it was his fault I came in for a refund. I've spent close to $7000 grand at the Exton location. Never again and no one I know will got there again. He was right I am a j erk for spending that much money there. Pros: great job installing, very knowledgeable Cons: Customer Service, the manager, getting them to return a call more

Andy and his installers have done 4 systems for me over 10 years. From top of the line in my mercedes to economy in my pick up truck. Always a great selection, prompt service, good prices....and lots of thump.... Pros: much better service than electronics mega stores Cons: very popular so there can be a delay in installation more
